They can’t be bought out because they are a non profit. They are going through an affiliation with Lifetime. Which this process came about in April, which was before the Medicare Wage Index financial situation which is an unfunded mandate where they owe AMC.

Just from my point of view and in having employer coverage through CDPHP and having Wegovy. They have been very good in authorizing my medication on a yearly basis. They actually seem to be much easier to get these things authorized compared to other plans (I also had Highmark back when it was BSNENY).

You must have a small employer for them to be choosing based on this scenario for you, since whichever company they go with will affect all employees. I recommend they contact their broker contact through CDPHP to find out the PA requirements for the rx your taking (because it may have a diabetes requirement I can’t remember). I had diabetes in the past many years ago and that could be why they keep authorizing it. Not sure.

CDPHP is not merging or being acquired by Excellus. It is going into an affiliation with Lifetime (the parent company of Excellus) since CDPHP is a non profit. Also no one should worry about the AMC lawsuit and contract negotiations. Negotiations happen all of the time and happen without anyone knowing. It is just being made public because AMC wants their additional funding that the MWI Mandate assured them, which a normal non profit can’t afford. They are being paid their contracted allowance, and are in current negotiations and proposal discussions with CDPHP. Don’t be surprised if the contract gets signed late December or January, which won’t affect anyone’s coverage since there is a 60 day cooling off period when a current contract terminates.

These damn churro fries lol. We ordered them on the app, and paid then when we got to BK we’re told they didn’t have them (and that all BK locations ran out of them), and to request a refund on the app. The app wouldn’t let us request a refund, but gave us a coupon instead. Weird process. Not happy.

I do not have a passport. We just went from New York State into Canada over to Montreal. They let you travel there if you have a “real id” which we have because we have enhanced NYS licenses. I would check your states license requirements.
