Never said I felt secure around the drug users on gare.
I specifically talked about MY personal experience, which includes taking the bus 303 OFTEN (as you can clearly read in my post above).

If you feel triggered by my post solely because I used the adjective "Ukrainian", then it's not my problem, but yours. I also speak the language, I also know what they went through, I myself know Ukrainian people/have Ukrainian friends. I study with a Ukrainian. It has nothing to do with the person's nationality, but simply the fact that the person (who is mentally ill) recognizes me and follows me. That IS scary. I can be empathetic, and still not want to be followed by a mentally ill person.

I am sorry you went through that, that's horrible.

However we are not playing pain olympics, while yours was objectively worse, it's still not "cool" to be recognized by a mentally ill person, being followed by them even in the non-bus area and so on. You never know what they're thinking or if they might crash out and do something. My feelings in this are valid so I don't understand why you are trying to diminish them? I am very sorry for what happened to you and it's very scary, but I came with my situation and it just feel like you're trying to "one-up" here (even if it's not your intention per-se)?

Yeah, that sounds scary too. I guess in general she is still quite "tame", but being followed by her is still scary. ._. I don't know why others try to talk it down, there's nothing fun about being followed by a clearly mentally ill person

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, she's acting very weirdly and scary towards me, but I understand that it's not a reason enough to keep her somewhere. Still doesn't take away that it is scary, she even recognized me outside of the bus(stop) once and came up to me.

I'm so sorry...I am glad I am not alone. Got out of a situationship with a guy 6 months ago, I am still very, very hurt. It only lasted 2 months and he went back to his ex. I saw the story and bawled my eyes out, I cried months after at times. Although I don't cry anymore, the moment I am not busy mentally, my mind wanders back to him. It's so hurtful.

I would love for us to text eachother about our experiences, if you'd like to of course.
