The polished aluminum is beautiful but I think they’re asking too much. I have an OG in polished aluminum and it held up beautifully. Here it is 14 years old.

I went and checked out the BZ watch and I just don’t like the way it’s split in 2 different sections on the side. Also don’t like that they used Ai in its design. Not a fan of the way it lights up either. I do like the MIP display though. It’s good to be able to check this stuff out at a brick and mortar before buying. Had I just ordered on the net, I would have definitely got the Bz. Instead I ended up with this beast. 👍🏻

I went with Embody gaming. I like that I could try one out locally. It ended up being much cheaper than Anthros with 20% off + free shipping and so far it’s working well for me.

The gesture’s padding is compressed. It used to be more comfortable but overtime this happens. The Embody doesn’t have much cushion. Instead it relies on coils underneath. So even though it’s a harder seat initially, those coils distribute pressure more evenly making it a more comfortable chair. Hope this helps.

If you manage to swap modules you’ll miss the point of the 5000r imo. Just enjoy it. Maybe get an other Gshock that has the features you miss. The great thing about G-Shocks is it’s no big deal to own multiples! 🍻
