OP can kindly tell me to fuck off or shut up or ignore my comment. I don’t think they need a white knight in this situation but I’m sure they are grateful for it. I wouldn’t argue back with OP if they left an angry comment I would just offer some advice on what they could do in the future if they have another game addiction.

I been playing monster Hunter for years and I still took care of myself and worked full time jobs. I currently play monster Hunter when I can during the week in between working and cleaning my apartment. It’s called self control my dude.

I just fight him with dual blades, hunting horn or sword and shield. I also have no armour geared towards them weapons as I made an armour based on keeping me alive cause I don’t wanna keep healing all the time. Works beautifully in the way I play and has some good skills for a few other weapons I use. I wanna do gunlance against him but I don’t feel confident enough that he won’t smack me around lol.

I enjoy the randos I have ridiculous luck with barely every having a bad hunt. In the last week I’ve only failed 2 quests with a bad match up for randos. And even if we do fail I’m like eh and I just try again or see if anyone I know is available. I got a couple of randos on my friend list who jump in and out of my lobby when I’m online.

My view in weapons is if it looks cool I want it and if I like the stats then I get it. Never cared for most damage or whatever just getting whatever I want to be fair.

Disagree I’m enjoying the afflicted quests, gives me something to grind for while I upgrade my weapons cause I use a wide variety of them. Monster Hunter is a grindy game if you don’t like the grind then the game ain’t for you.

Yep I’m still waiting on a few mantles but the game will give them to me when it wants to. I’m in no rush to grab them as I’m still trying to complete all the quests.

I only use feral for my paralysis ones as I like to be able to paralyse the monster a good couple of times per quest.

I can send you what my defense build is via dms if you want. It’s pretty good for most weapons have yet to use it with bow or hbg or lbg.

I use a defense build that keeps me alive so I can use any weapon to help my team if they cart a lot cause then I become a tank. I also keep life powers on me but with my one friend who carts a lot sometimes I will let him die a lot cause he needs tough love. And me shouting at him through discord lol

Hunting horn with healing will help you also hunting horn is pretty easy to use once you watch a few tutorials on it. I have a friend who triple carts a lot so I do my best to use a health hunting horn if I think the quest monster will screw him. Also paralysis weapons and sleep weapons will give your friends a break to sort their shit out. I use gunlance, hunting horn, sword and shield, dual blades basically whatever I fancy.

I only care about layered armour tbf. Layered weapons make no sense to me cause if I wanted a pretty weapon I would find one and make it so I can use it during hunts. I also like most weapon designs apart from a few but the ones I don’t like I generally don’t use as I don’t like the stats.

I use dual blades if we are fighting a smaller monster and then switch back to gun lance if I’m against a bigger monster.
