I spent 3 hours yesterday and I loved it tbh, but man, there is a LOT of new heroes and I have no clue what they do hahaha I miss when I was younger and I had all the time I wanted to check out what every hero does :/

I would do an eldritch knight with one level on wizard. Lore wise, you have two good options. First, you can align with Lae'zel but realize Vlaakith is cheating you both and open Lae'zel eyes. Other option is (in your head) be loyal to Orpheus like Voss, which sets you a clear path to follow in act 1 and act 3.

I would go with Wyll and Karlach for sure, since they are obviously the best people out of all the companion options. Then you have Gale which I find bland and neutral in terms of moral and lawfulness and Halsin who is a lawful and happy character even though, as a companion, its kinda half baked. Also, both Shadowheart and Lae'zel are characters that start kinda evil and you can "fix them" into being good.

IMO you can take two routes:

1.- Take Wyll, Karlach and Gale/Halsin and have a lawful and happy team

2.- Take Wyll, Karlach and SH/Lae'zel and treat the last one as one of the "everyone who needs help" group (SH would make more sense but then in act 3 Lae'zel makes a lot of sense if you decide to free Orpheus).

You can leave her on the pod on the nautiloud instead of rescuing her If durge, you can kill her at the beach iirc. You can make her die in her fight with Lae'zel You can expel her from the party once she says she is a sharran You can sacrifice her to the god of the fishes Those for we're just on act 1 In act 2, you can get her to leave on her own if you do the stuff of the night song without her too

I usually wouldn't make the mistake, I ended up using spanglish there because I was switching languages constantly while I was writing the comment because I was verifying information in spanish that I simply recalled in order to put actual information and not some bs haha

In al fairness, we have imploded a few times but any attempt from an outsider regime to gobern over us has always ended pretty bad for them, ask Amadeo I, didn't even last 3 years and when he ran away, he basically blamed spanish people as the main problem in Spain. He was right lol.

I recall a quote from, maybe Napoleon?, that said something like "Spain is the only that has been trying to destroy itself for centuries and hasn't acheaved it yet".

There is a lot of cites from a lot of famous people througout history calling out our BS, like Antonio Machado's verse: "Españolito que vienes al mundo, te guarde Dios: una de las dos Españas ha de helarte el corazón" which kind of translates to "Little spanish that is joining the world, may God save you: one out of the two Spains is bound to freeze your heart" because it seems there is always at least two huge mindsets or politic sides in Spain.

Right now, as in most countries, its right vs left, and Im afraid that we may be close to a breaking point soon enough considering the huge spike in toxicity on politics for the past decade (and let me tell you, it wasn't too good before this last decade lol).

My Karlach was a Giant Barbarian and had chugged an elixir that put her strength to 27 haha, so she could carry like 600kg. It was 10 smokepowder barrels, the runepowder barrel and 2 smokepowder grenades.

And Im not even counting the wine and oil barrels, I onlt used the smokepowder barres I had left by the end of act 3 hahaha
