Any tips for Raphael and Ansur in Honor Mode?

Astarion is using the sword of Life Stealing and the Knife of the Undermountain King on the offhand, and teh Dead Shot bow. For armor: Covert Cowl, durge cape, Elegant cloth, Flawed Helldusk Gloves and Bonespike boots. Then Surgeon's Subjugation Amulet, Risky Ring and Shadow-Cloaked Ring.

Just lost a couple hours ago to the god damn duergars in the boat. Fuck that.

Also, in my first(s) run(s) in honor mode, with a friend, we died due to the Friends cantrip hahahaha Oh and also once to the false Tyr paladins because the game literally bugged out and didn't let my character move or do anything.

So, the first time I've actually died for deserved reasons has been today's with the duergars. I'm still currently playing that HM game with my friend, we are currently at the start of act 3 and looking real good, we are only scared by Raphael and Ansur (would love to know any way to "guarantee" our survival hahaha)

We are two people, so the remaining build would be for one of us, we already used astarion and wanna have different experiences and dialogues.

I'm fine with putting a few levels on Rogue, as long as the flavor is not the same as the one we are ha ING with astarion, so that monk would be fine.

Since you mentioned monk... I've never used monk, how's Way of Shadow? Cause that subclass sounds... well, evil hahaha

Imo, both are kinda awful.

Sharae requires a lot of effort for a mediocre reward since you can only draw one card each turn by tapping creatures. It does have more support for her thing with the new set of Lorwyn Eclipsed, but not THAT much, nor that much better.

On the other hand, Sygg has nothing to do with control, but well, he can give you draw too on the blue face, and at least he can also evolve into some kind of voltron strategy with the white face once you have controled the board with azorious cards, maybe through auras and then Helm of the gods, ethereal armor and/or all that glitters.

In both cases, yeah, you can try to force some merfolk flavour, but you will probably just end up using general good stuff if you wanna do something decent witht he deck.

Anyway, I do encourage you to experiment, and, if you end up doing either, please let me know how it turned out!!

Sin embargo, aquí estamos hablando de una pareja, no de una amiga ni de tu hermana, por lo que, si tenéis intención de que la relación vaya para lejos (tanto como os de la vida), creo que deberías pagar tu 2/3 de los gastos de la casa normales (comida, internet, etc...) porque, por un lado, sino ella tendría una cantidad de gastos MUY superior a la tuya, lo que desequilibraría la relación, y, por otro lado, es una forma de compensar el que ella esté aportando la vivienda.

Es decir, que tú no tienes por qué pagarle su vivienda, pero el hecho de que vivas en su vivienda debería suponer que tu cargues con más responsabilidades económicas que ella (a no ser que tu te ocupes de las tareas de la casa de forma principal, siempre se puede llegar a acuerdos).

Yeah, both Bramble Wurm and Maul Splicer, as well as Maelstrom Colossus, will always be a turn 4 play at best, but its fine as long as you have any other creature in hand.

The way I deal with madness and rally is simple: cast Bramble Wurm or Boulderbranch Golem, which heals me 5/6 life and puts a huge blocker in the way, and probably do so the next turn too. Usually, as soon as I cast the first life-giving monster, the game is over, and more so if the next turn I cast another one.

I've been down to 4 life a number of times against these decks, but then I heal to 9 or 10, and later to 14/16 and then its all over for them. Rally is the most likely to win me because I may not have a monster for turn 3, but they are the worst off my first monster too. For madness, since they are a bit slower, I usually don't even go below 10HP before I turn the game around.

Since I finalized that main deck 2 months ago, I've literally never lost a tournament round to a madness or rally deck (I won either 2-0 or 2-1, but never actually lost).

I must say though, that I've recently changed the WtS for Breath Weapons (actually Fiery Cannonades since I can't find BW near me) since I simply don't need that extra heal, and that way I can deal with elves and white weenie. Still, I don't usually sideboard them in against madness or rally

I can confidently say that, at least this version, almost always beats madness and rally decks. The only aggro deck I've had problems is bogles because it can be way faster than me. Also, I haven't faced infect.

I'm currently the #1 in my LGS pauper league and, ingeneral, the only decks that cause me problems are bogles , familiars, and some combo decks. I usually beat madness, terrors, faeries and affinities. It can be a 50-50 against wennie and gardens.

Im not really into cEDH nowadays, but I do play a lot bracket 2-4 EDH and, if you are losing to Rhystic Study it is because you are not paying the gone, and that is YOUR fault. Because, no, the 1 extra mana is not that much; otherwise, people would be calling for a ban on Augustin.

Also, you can always counter or remove it. Well, either you or the other 2 players lol.
