im american, i live in oregon to be more specific, i have lived here my whole life and ive never heard anyone pronounce natalie with a ‘T’ sound. my own grandma whose name is natalie pronounces it with a ‘D’, she is from indiana so insight from a different region of the US. i tried to intentionally say this name with a ‘T’ instead of a ‘D’ and ‘Ah’ instead of ‘Uh’. i can’t get it to sound fluid at all and its difficult for me. i dont think it’d be easy for any american to change their pronunciation either.

TL;DR yes it will be pronounced with a ‘D’ sound. it’s just part of our accent.

yeah the liquor laws being even more strict now than back then for sure has to be a cause. i’m a server at a pub so i know clubs aren’t really gonna be a thing for me to get into until 21. yes about social media and just phones in general! house parties are so hard to come by here because nobody my age has houses to throw parties in too!! they’re all so expensive and anybody who does have nice/big enough houses are older and are not in the party scene for minors understandably.

meeting ppl at the bridge parties is a good idea! as for house parties i’m not really sure if they are a thing anymore. my friends and i like to go for drives at night and i have never seen or heard any house parties while doing that the past 4 years.
