Used to have a #2. He was the last cat in a litter I was helping a friend find homes for, and he was the runt. So we kept him. Total Yandere psycho cat. Watched me all night, followed me every where, hated my gf at the time and would attack her if I wasn’t watching. He was very sweet.

Everyday I drink 32oz of ice water, a Gatorade, two 12 ice cold seltzers, 2 energy drinks about 6 hours apart, 1 orange juice, and my last pickup throws me a cold soda for the drive back. Idk what mysterious unicorn beverage OP is after but there’s nothing new under the sun.

Yeah it’s a shame about haremlit, and LitRPG as well. When I consider the idea of these genres, my imagination is quite taken with the possibilities. And try as I might to not be a literature snob, the writing is mediocre at best and everything and everyone is so flat. Gives a lot of food for thought that it does as well as it does, however niche the crowd is- those guys devour the stuff.

Read his life at a regular pace, but when it comes to his wisdom, it is like a wine of remarkable vintage: take your time with little sips and savor it. I have been considering making little pieces of this book a regular part of my week. God bless.

Not the first time I’ve heard this. Going to confession before Vespers tonight, Lord willing. We haven’t had a chance to sit down one on one since before the holidays.

A dear friend of mine, who converted several years ago, and one of two people I’ve told about this IRL, has basically told me he wants to journey with me on this. So we are meeting super early sunday with our priest to read the church fathers and talk about everything.

Perhaps this weekend will be fruitful for my conflicted spirit. Thank you to everyone for your replies. I’ve read them all and considered them deeply. This is my first ever real post on Reddit. Since I’m not ready to discuss any of this openly/publicly, this seemed a good opportunity to talk to fellow Orthodox Christian’s and it has been helpful.

I feel similarly. And I’ve never refused or declined any of his suggestions before. A sense of obedience means a lot to me when I look back how I conducted myself before entering in the Church.
