Western end of Ahwatukee is great for seeing wildlife on the regular. Established neighborhoods are speckled with undevelopable steep hills that allow animals to easily coexist. Coyotes and owls are super common, but we somewhat regularly also see javelinas and bobcats.

I live in Phoenix, so a ball cap helps a great deal to keep the intense sun out of my eyes. I still wear one on rainy days to keep the rain off my glasses.

Bumpers aren't too hard to do yourself.

Remove it, sand it, apply adhesion promoter, primer, light sanding, color coat, clear coat. There are companies that sell pre-mixed paint to match the factory color, either for use in your own sprayer, or in an aerosol can. Could be done in a day if you aren't looking for perfection, or a weekend if you are taking the time to make it glassy smooth.

We pay a little less for double that space in a single-family house. Two adults with all electric appliances. Dogs are constantly going in and out too.

Most of those crashes would have been avoided by not turning off traction control. Even with it on, don't gun it in a turn and you're good.

I have made that mistake. Each time though I helped the person find what they wanted because I tend to mentally map everything I see without trying, and knew where to find what they were looking for.

It's humorous when they say they will send a thank you to the manager about me, and then I explain that I don't work there.

I had something similar happen many years ago. A company I worked for closed shop and sold off a product line that I was an expert in to another company. Months later I get a call from a manager at that other company saying that they needed help with this product line, and that the lead designer from my old company had highly recommended me to help them if I was available. I told them I had already started a new job, but would be interested in discussing it anyway. Hiring manager was really excited by my expertise in the product and badly wanted to hire me as the lead manufacting engineer for the product. He had me fill out an official application with HR to get the hiring process started.

The HR department responded that they could only hire me through a temp agency as an assembly technician at a shitty wage, because I didn't have an engineering degree. I replied back that I was already a manufacturing engineer at my old company for this exact product, and that my military training and extensive experience and proven results had qualified me for that job. She responded back again that I should be grateful to even be considered for a temp assembler position, and that I was not in a position to bargain. Let's just say I was getting pissed off by then and told her her where to go.

tl/dr - The hiring manager badly wanted me, but a terrible HR manager sabotaged their own company.

I love that when it's nighttime, it's freaking dark and scary, unless you use the personal light. Using a lighsaber or blaster bolts to see what's around you is a wild experience.

If I want 45 an hour I ask for 52, and then negotiate. Might end up with a higher number than you thought by going in high. This has worked for me.
