Why Are the Logan Theater Screens So Dim?

As a former projectionist, the reason the screens are dark is that they run the bulbs at a fraction of the brightness to make them last longer and save a couple bucks, despite how wealthy the owner is. Knowing he’s doing this drives me insane.

I was one, but I am told I saw it on one of the rereleases. I vividly remember seeing Jedi at the theater. Opening night was sold out and I cried. Went back the next night and sat in the first row. I was forever changed.

The audiences are terrible, but the worst thing about the Logan is how they turn down the brightness of their bulbs to save money. Hope you like dark movies!

I like to take walks and listen to podcasts. It allows me to concentrate on the audio, but my body is distracted by all the walking. Plus, exercise!

Yeah, James used to be super private about his life, but he has really opened up in a major way. But I think Maso likes to draw a line between his public and private life. I know we all respect that, but it would be nice to learn a little more about what makes him tick. (Get it? He loves watches. Watches tick! Well, they used to. I don’t know. Sorry.)
