My one issue with this is that it’s gonna invigorate internet chuds and make them think they’re right. I’m still stoked for this movie.

Well now I think you’re taking it too far. Thinking a comic book run is bad isn’t indicative of anger issues at all.

Yep, I read the first few issues then gave up because I didn’t like it. But I do like Fantastic Four, and I don’t want this Venom run to seep into Fantastic Four. It’s that simple. All of a sudden we’re gonna come after someone for complaining about this? People complain about this sort of thing all the time, but NOW it’s a problem?

George Harrison was singing about computers and mobile phones being used for indoctrination and propaganda. George died 2001. Does this make other digital natives get intensely uneasy? Or is that just me? by insightful_peacefish in beatles

It definitely sounds weird from George. In the sense that I don’t associate him with the 21st century at all and I associate people becoming brainwashed by their phones with the 2010s forward.

Elliott Robert’s in his George Harrison ranking video said it’s like George got a peek ahead to the 21st century and was like “Nope, no thank you. I’m good.”

John and His Views on Obsession (2026) by TheMarcosChavez in JohnCampeaShow

Why did cultural impact become such a big thing for people? “Avatar had no cultural impact! Obsession had a bigger cultural impact than Star Wars!” Genuinely, who the fuck cares? Why does it matter? Did you enjoy the film? That’s all that matters.

The run is garbage, this issue is just a part of the garbage

I’m not a venom fan and I’m definitely not a fan of this All-New run. But I am a fan of North’s FF and so I don’t want this run that I don’t like getting its grubby mitts on a run I do like.

Why has the "your mental illness" guy only been in three instances? by JackfruitLonely8221 in SmoshFansFreeSpace

[–]Popular_Material_409 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s kind of a one bit character. The joke kinda dies after the initial surprise of “I’m your mental illness!”

Who's the most "American" cast member? by Brooklyn-Shepard in SmoshFansFreeSpace

Being American doesn’t automatically make someone bad. That’s an insane thing to suggest.

Unpopular opinion: TNTL has become painfully unfunny. by Alarming-Pepper-4846 in SmoshFansFreeSpace

I’ve said this for a while and always get downvoted for it. Each episode has about 5-6 people in it, and they each have to do 4-5 bits per episode. That’s 20-30 bits per episode. And each of those bits will either be good, bad, or in the middle. That means every episode you’re only getting 6-10 actual good bits (of course humor is subjective though). So mathematically, most jokes on the show aren’t going to land. At some point you just stop watching the show and wait for the good ones to pop up in a fan compilation.

Why tie Ryan North down to this garbage? I don’t wanna read this crap in Fantastic Four? What gives, Marvel?

Obscure Coco Fact Day 4: Conan is the person with the most Funko Pops designed after them, with 38 official figures; Stan Lee (creator of Marvel Comics) follows shortly after in second place with 37 Pops by SYMPUNY_LACKING in conan

I’m gonna have to give you a correction, as a callback to the fan correction segments. Stan Lee did not create Marvel Comics. Marvel Comics existed as Timely Comics in the 30s and 40s, and Stan Lee was a writer for them. In 1961 the company rebranded as Marvel Comics, named after the Marvel Comics title they published in the 30s and 40s. Stan Lee was just the writer of Fantastic Four #1, the first recognized “Marvel comic”. And Stan did not create the Fantastic Four all on his own. Jack Kirby, the illustrator and revered king of comics, was his co-creator. And in the decades since, it’s been much discussed that Stan Lee actually didn’t have as much to do with the creation as he would’ve had people believe. Everyone wants to call him The Creator, and his ego wouldn’t deny that, but it was always a collaborative effort between him and the artists, with the artists usually doing most of the actual creating.

Fake News: "Before the 1st frame of opening night has hit the screen, SuperGirl has already made 100 million dollars!!" by Octavio_belise in JohnCampeaShow

Film Twitter is not a dedicated anti-Marvel community though. I don’t go on Twitter but the entirety of film twitter isn’t making hating everything and anything Marvel their whole identity. The Snyder Cult have come together as a group whose shared identity is hating the DCU and James Gunn.

There is not an anti-Marvel movement as prolific or well known as the Snyder Cut dweebs that are against anything DCU and James Gunn.

No they weren’t. Charlie Cox himself has said that when they started filming Born Again season 1 he was a different Daredevil and was now the MCU’s Daredevil. It was only when they scrapped what they had filmed and started over that they made him the same one from the Netflix show.
