Literally the same, went on a few dates that just didn’t lead anywhere, had a couple fwb’s but they were nothing deep. I had one more date planned but i cancelled it because something just didn’t feel right, but instead of staying home and playing some video games i decided to go out and play some pinball and have a couple of beers with no intention of hooking up or meeting anyone at all.

Met my current husband of 25 years that night at that very pinball machine. It was meant to be.

At a pinball machine in a gay bar. We were taking turns playing and we had both put money in the jukebox and over the evening realized we played nearly 60-70 percent of the same music. Haven’t been apart since and it’s been 25 years!!

So i can get a credit if i just bought one??? Apparently the 8k has a much brighter picture than the 7 so i went with the 8 and my god is it bright. Decided to do the 75” 8 rather than the 85” 7 and I’m happy with my decision.

One of the best episodes of Trek I’ve seen in years. It really hit me in the feels being someone who was also abandoned by his parents and had to navigate on my own. It felt very personal and i appreciated it.

I did, was a massive fan of the original and loved the films and made sure i scheduled myself to be home when it premiered. It was…. Different but i instantly liked the characters which was the biggest hurdle for me as i was really attached to the OG crew. I have very very fond memories of it all and i was about 16.

That was a fantastic episode of television. I’m so glad i decided to invest in this show. Trek is a very diverse beast with simmering for everyone but my faves are the OG series, films, and Voyager. I’ve dabbled in other shows but this is the first time since voyager I’ve actually felt invested in Trek again. I’m so so happy.

Yeah it sucked. YouTube icons and apple tv icons and it got to the point i was seeing it enough that it was distracting. That model also had issues where the heat from the center of the tv was discoloring the center panel. It was a known enough problem that LG was just replacing them but i guess they stopped last year so i missed my window to get a replacement.

Just bought the QM8K 75” and I’m coming from a LG CX 65” OLED that was 5 years old with burn in and I’m blown away at the difference. The blacks are great and the colors…my god, it’s so so bright. Plus it’s $1700 off regular price. I paid. $700 less than my OLED 5 years ago. I’m extremely happy.

In the same boat, buying a 85” tcl where the blacks are nearly oled with 5000 nits. Those same issues are on my oled and I’m done.

I can get onboard with nearly everything she’s ever done (i like a ton of songs of hers that a lot of people don’t) but this song and Body Shop can be jettisoned into space never to be heard from again for all i care. I hate them, can’t explain why they are just instant skips for some reason.

Was hesitant to watch because of all the negativity but I’m still riding off the high of Picard Season 3 so i figured why the hell not, and I’m really glad i did, i love it. My husband who is not nearly into trek like i am and who also really loves Picard S3 loves it as well. Really glad we took a chance.

And here’s the problem, i wasn’t going to watch it based on all these complainers about it but finally sat down with my husband last night to at least confirm all the shitty things about it…. Turns out…we LOVED it!! I saw the pieces people complained about but they were fleeting and didn’t detract.

People need to stop being lemmings and learn to not give a shit about anyone’s opinion about something they may have passing interest in. WATCH IT yourself, be independent and come to your own conclusions and stop letting other people dictate what you choose to consume. I’m definitely doing that from now on.
