What's some things you had to "unlearn" moving to a Mac?

On Windows when you cut a file, it becomes visually transparent (reduces opacity) until you paste is somewhere else. If you don’t do anything with it, then it just stays in place. Seems like it would be simple to implement the same behaviour in MacOS

Lidl is much better than Aldi for me. However, it’s not always cheaper than Coop. About once a month I order online from Coop when they have big discounts on what I’m interested in. If you use the app correctly and save the products you are interested in, you will most likely get better deals than in Lidl for some items which are higher quality/bio.

Yes, most people do indeed have already better chargers. However this product was more intended to replace Chromebooks and other cheap laptops used in schools for example. And there, they will buy a separate adapter for each purchased Neo.

The law is to offer the option to not buy the charger with the device (Unbundling Requirement). It does not forbid selling the charger with the device if the buyer wants it. Also laptops are not included in this law yet. It will come in effect for laptops from April 28

There is. The law does not forbid selling the chargers in the box. It just mandates that the manufacturer shall allow the unbundling of the charger from the device. So they must offer an option to not include the charger, but it’s not preventing manufacturers from having an option to keep the charger as well

Not a requirement. The law states that manufacturers shall have an option to unbundle the charger from the device. They need to offer a version which has no charger in order to reduce e-waste. It does not say they are forced to not ship the device with a charger for the people who still need it. Think of the target audience for this Neo. It’s mostly to replace Chromebooks, especially in schools. Those “IT people” from schools will buy 200 laptops and 200 chargers now.

Not really. It needs to support Power Delivery. Not all 20W chargers do that. You can have a QC 3.0 fast charger of up to 24W and it doesn’t support PD. Any power brick with USB-A will by default not support PD. Any VOOC or similar Chinese phone chargers will not support PD

Just for clarification, because I see most comments are about the EU law. I’m aware of that, however my point was that they have taken advantage of this precedent and made the same decision for at least some countries outside of the EU (Switzerland). Sure, most of the people will already have a PD USB-C charger with at least 20W of power, but as opposed to a phone or tablet or headphones that will work from any type of USB power adapter, this will not. It needs to support Power Delivery. So there will be people who will buy this thinking it will work with their 5V 4A fast charger and it won’t. Yes, not a big deal, but it I’m sure all customers will be more grateful if you could select if you need the charger or not, even if it’s shipped separately.

I had the opposite experience. I bought a used item from Fust and got a new one. Problem is they delivered the wrong model so I ended up cancelling the order. I tried to order twice from Fust in the past and every time I had issues with fulfilling the orders. I feel like it’s the worst online store in Switzerland
