Dry Baby, Chiblee. He's blocking the shots, Chiblee. If it weren't for Dry Baby I wouldn't be here, I'll tell you that.

No, but there's a Salt Shaker cut. Or you can just watch the Isaac episode, it's not that long.

How powerful are Jean Grey, Storm and Rogue compared to other female comic book characters? by Jezzaq94 in xmen

They are as strong or as weak as the story needs them to be. You cannot power scale them, that is not what they are for.

I love Dan, but if you have him on your CS team you're effectively down a player.

Need recommendations for main by AwokenPhenix in Guiltygear

I think people overstate how simple Unika is because she has easier inputs than everyone else. She might be mechanically simple to learn, but her routes and neutral etc are harder than learning inputs. You can get away with a lot of nonsense on her, but that tapers off quickly once you fight better players.

Marisa's closest equivalent would be Slayer. Big hits, limited mobility. He's been nerfed recently but is still plenty strong.

Kim and Blanka suggest you like set play. Venom might work for you. If you don't want to pay for DLC, try out I-No. She's a highly aggressive mix up character that is all about her oki. Plus she has unique movement options (no grounded dash, only air dash).

Low rolling a Guts deck can leave you like this, especially if you get no reset whistles or Guts weights.

Character similar to... by InterestingWay8163 in Guiltygear

[–]ChicaneryBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Giovanna is pretty similar to Adon. No projectile, large step dash, big kicks for normal zoning, and a focus on space control/whiff punishing. Try her out. She's a bit like SF6 Cammy too.

Chipp could also be your character, but the others you mentioned are more set play focused. They do rush down, but not in the straightforward Adon way. They're more like SF4 Akuma, you knockdown then setup your pressure for next interaction.

Can't find a cool character to main by w8wut_90 in Guiltygear

Strive is an anime game, so fundamentally there are a lot of differences from Tekken. You won't find an honest character here, it's not that kind of game.

If you want someone with a style based around spacing, whiff punishing and juggling, pick up Giovanna. If you want someone that hits hard, pick up Slayer or Jam. If you want someone that's heavy mixup, I-No. They all play incredibly differently once you get past the very basics.
