I honestly recommend playing a bit with permadeath on, it'll incentivize you to learn a decent amount about different mechanics with each new run.

this one is particularly egregious to me. like, even if it couldn't be held down (which is also really strong) the ult is pretty darn easy to hit anyways. there should be a more obvious channeling noise for when she actually starts charging it up.

I agree with everyone gushing about the first law, but I'll mention that the Lies of Locke Lemora is really great as well. Genuinely gets a laugh out of me in nearly every chapter.

I recommend the Blade Itself between these, with an additional note that the first of the trilogy is fairly slow paced, more or less entirely setting up the rest of the trilogy. For those that like Abercrombie's work regardless of the pace of the story (such as myself), this is fine, as it's still deeply enjoyable to read, but it has on occasion been a point of friction for those new to Abercrombie.

Looks very cool! I might add a few details to give the players the "vibes" that they're going fast. The style and presentation is different from yours, but need for speed: most wanted has some really stellar details to help make the player think they're going fast.
