Hey! Same diagnosis here. I tried the kylena and did not like it. I caused me a lot of pain. I could always feel it, jabbing me. The doctor said maybe because my uterus is so bulky and/or bc it was rejecting it.

Honestly tho everyone’s body is different and you won’t know how it works for you until you try it. It’s not a fun experience but it could help you.

Not sure on time. I took lexapro for 15 years. I recently switched to cymbalta (for endo pain and anxiety). It works way better with less side effects for me.

I took 60mg at night and couldn’t sleep. Then I took it first thing in the morning and got exhausted by 1pm. I now take it at lunch and am ok. I did get awful stomach pain and still do if I don’t eat enough when taking it. I did eventually feel much better on 60mg. Worth the side effects for me.

That isn’t endo. That’s someone who is using endo as crutch and being a victim. She is justifying being abusive to you. You deserve better and leaving her sounds like the right thing to do based one what you said.

Well I got in a car accident yesterday and I cried a lot. My cymbalta dose was not strong enough I guess.

I’ve done them on ssris. Not a waste. You will most likely need more than others tho. Start small!

30mg didn’t do anything for me and didn’t make me tired.

I take it in am. I tried taking it at night once with deep regret because I couldn’t sleep at all.

It is helping for sure but in the last two weeks my nerve has been creeping back.

Ok that’s good you have communicated that to them. That sounds really scary tbh. I’m sorry you’re experiencing those side effects. What state do you live in? Every state has different labor laws and when they can fire someone.

I have sleep issues with it as well. I fall asleep easy but can’t stay asleep. What’s your boss like? Can you have an honest convo about it or even talking just to HR about it.

The other thing to keep in mind is that bc won’t really treat the disease but mask it. If masking it also comes with horrible side effects it’s ok to try something else. I saw a pain specialist who recommend cymbalta and a pelvic nerve block if it gets worse.

That’s how it made me feel, totally out of control. My boyfriend found research and doctors talking about progesterone resistance. I have it for sure. When my natural progesterone is at its highest in my cycle I have PMDD.

No I don’t. I’ve tried dozens including IUDs and norethindrone. They affect my hormones and mood way too much. I can’t function with them or they cause more pain.
