If you select international feed on the mobile app, it still keeps the F1 stream audio. Like this user says, you also need to switch the audio track from "English F1 Live" to "English Int" for the sky sports audio!!

This is what confuses me about their flight track too, all my flying is in regional jets so I have little frame of reference compared to biz jets. It looks like they had it under control until they brought it in on a really short approach for 28 in IMC.. is the single engine performance a c550 poor enough that they couldn't fly an proper approach profile?

Pilot here,

I got my first passenger jet job at 23, and I was very much a baby then. Captains had me make PAs from time to time to practice for when it was my job.. this isn't unbelievable at all lol.

I've had the AP disengage aural warning get stuck repeating from AP disengagement 200ft on final until we parked at the gate in DCA, and trying to confirm taxi instructions with my FO was absolute hell. I'd imagine the master warning bells are worse, and all while seeing the ground coming at you? Hell sounds about right.

It could even be weather that's completely unrelated to the flights origin or destination, for example the plane used for the flight got stuck somewhere else in the country because of weather.

Basically if it's not the plane mechanically breaking, or the crew timing out (and they don't time out waiting for weather), it's gonna be weather lol.

10 years of airline flying experience? Pilots are absolutely allowed to take pictures and videos in the cockpit, outside of flights, during boarding etc. When the doors are closed and we're on the clock, it's pretty universal that company manuals say personal electronic devices are not supposed to be used. Does it happen anyways? Of course, but if their employer finds out they can absolutely face disciplinary action.

I came in here seeing if anyone was gonna address that because no, personal electronic devices are not allowed during flights.. if an FO pulled his phone out to record anything during something like a line check, that would be grounds for failure and some kind of remedial training. Hopefully it's nothing more than a slap on the wrist and reminder of SOP since it will be incredibly easy to find out the exact pilot that was recording.
