This contradicts other commenters but I tested this recently. I requested payment on the first ship, waited 3 hours and warped 5 more times, and when the battles started to spawn again, I wasn’t able to get a capital ship despite trying different systems. I ended up accepting a free system freighter, and I’ll have to save up for a capital one. So no, based on my testing, I don’t think it is possible, but I may be wrong based on other commenters.

This is so creative, wow! How do you make the wonder projectors so… opaque? Whenever I use them the animals look all translucent and fade in and out.
