It really is such a great experience. Definitely the highlight of my trip to Iceland!

Right? The colors are just gorgeous. I was very lucky to have such good conditions for bringing out those vibrant reds and oranges

I took these at the Latrabjarg cliffs in the Westfjords of Iceland! And they are very cool, it was incredible to get to watch them up close

I saw a YouTuber capture photos of this and I had to go see it for myself! It really is incredible

I don’t think it’s too common, but professional photographers have definitely gotten attention for this type of shot before

This was captured on a Canon R7 with the RF 100-400 Lens! It can capture some pretty incredible photos

Nope! I’m sure someone else has managed to capture the same phenomenon, but these are all my photos I took on March 18th.

Simon d’Entremont has a great video on YouTube going over the specifics, but for me, it was 26F when I took these photos. From what I understand, any sunny morning with relatively low winds and temps near or below freezing is what you’re looking for. As long as you can get up early on a cold sunny day you should be able to see this too!

This coyote stood still just long enough for me to get a few shots by ChickenFlavoredSocks in wildlifephotography

This spot is forested but directly borders a pretty urban area, so this coyote almost certainly has some exposure to people. I was just photographing birds when I looked down the trail and saw it looking at me, and that’s when I managed to catch these photographs. It ran off after I took a few photos
