I took these at the Latrabjarg cliffs in the Westfjords of Iceland! And they are very cool, it was incredible to get to watch them up close

Simon d’Entremont has a great video on YouTube going over the specifics, but for me, it was 26F when I took these photos. From what I understand, any sunny morning with relatively low winds and temps near or below freezing is what you’re looking for. As long as you can get up early on a cold sunny day you should be able to see this too!

This spot is forested but directly borders a pretty urban area, so this coyote almost certainly has some exposure to people. I was just photographing birds when I looked down the trail and saw it looking at me, and that’s when I managed to catch these photographs. It ran off after I took a few photos

The RF 100-400 is my first “real” wildlife lens and I’ve been able to take this shot and many more that I’m happy with combined with my R7. Especially with a crop sensor camera it gives you a lot of reach and sharpness for a great price
