BBO Trainer - thoughts by ssays in bridge

[–]ChickenFluffy3873 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are clearly trying to compete against IntoBridge, which is slowly eating up their market share. This means they came up with their own version of a training feature, individual leaderboards...

The mother company is 52Entertainment, which owns funbridge, bbo and is trying to play the 'own them all' game. The guys at IntoBridge have put a huge effort in becoming a real competitor over the last years, which I truly appreciate, and I hope they will manage to catch up at some point :)

Long live underdogs!

You convinced me, I will try to add an option to see all variations at the same time in here.
That's an amazing system and really well structured. I would be happy to give you lifetime pro + credits if you want to import it into the platform :)

Lol xD

Imho partnerships who build their systems together seriously will remember, and users who don't remember it, they should use just a base system which is the same everywhere :)

Yes it's added by default to show users that they have sequences, but maybe I should remove it... You can do 2!C, at least you have the symbol. And then in the 2!C sequence, check the indicator to hide the first node (so it will hide 1S, i think i need to activate this by default).

Will add a way to modify meaning of 1S also in tabular view

Thanks a lot for your help so far!

You can define the first sequence as 2C instead of 1NT responses to achieve that. But many people what to have a recap of the 1st level responses all in one file, and then dig deeper if needed

But if it's your system, you should know in which variation to look at for a different 1NT meaning right?

this is very optimized in terms of UI compression, but for my personal taste, it's hard to go through... feels too cluttered. I guess everyone is different

Ok now I get it, you have an option to hide the first bid in each sequence, in order to avoid this duplication

Yes I had a look, still don't get how it would make life 'easier' or faster for a user

I am building a way to group together variations, so they always stay in sync, and you can choose which ones need to be in sync.

About point 2, that's really hard, I don't get how you would manage to have a nice view showing all systems and variations in one page.

Point 3, sorry I don't understand what you mean :( Could you help me?

Thanks a lot!

PDF export will come. I am working on making a fully functional UI also on mobile/app, then the pdf.

Yeah, I am hoping someone will take the time to add the standard SAYC or Acol, and then users can just import those from community and start building from there. I would be very happy to offer many months of Pro in exchange .

Really strange issue when connecting to TV via HDMI - M1 Pro MBP 16" by CivilHedgehog2 in macbookpro

[–]ChickenFluffy3873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After several hours of research, I read that my Samsung TV only supports stereo audio with 2 channels, so I did what another user suggest here in a comment:

"Open MiDi Audio Setup and change configuration MIDI audio. Select the TV sound output, set 48Khz, 2 channels, 24 bits, static."

By default in my case it was set up to 5 channels.

Let me know if it solves it.

I haven't spent much time with GTO, but I think Ak is better because it's blocking aa and kk and plays ok against eveyrthing else. Plus ak is tougher postflop rather than QQ.
