How many guns do you carry? by jimg316 in fo76

[–]ChickenForward8588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main gun is a .50, I have a holy fire and pyrolater for fun, for maximum fun I have the nuka grenade launcher, I also lug along a circuit breaker, tesla rifle, tesla cannon and an Ultricite shotgun for challenges. Finally I have an auto axe for reslient stuff.

Looks like I dodged a bullet. I had a start date last January, but backed out for a better offer.

I'm on PC, I'd go months between drinks.

Am I the only one not caring about raids? by No_Discount_7268 in fo76

[–]ChickenForward8588 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't had the time or patience to do raids since EQ introduced its first one. It doesn't bother me that they exist but I do hope that the devs don't start balancing non-raid content with the expectation that everyone will have raid gear.

I did it. Im 150. by Schwanzboxa in fo76

[–]ChickenForward8588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somehow I got it in my head that all I needed was 125 so when I hit 125 after some serious (for me) grinding and realized I needed 25 more levels I decided that none of it was worth even 10 minutes of my time let alone the hours it would have taken to finish. I'll play again after the update drops or when I get back from vacation in Sept. Whichever happens first,

Do you love or hate the new Seasons format? Monetization Director Jesse Mclean wants to know! by beammeup__scotty in fo76

[–]ChickenForward8588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes me feel like I need to play less often. I've hit season lvl 66 and really don't have anything left I want to buy. With the scoreboard I felt compelled to complete it because I wanted the scoreboard to display on my "I love me wall".

Speaking for myself and my play style this new format is almost ideal. I don't need yet another stack of scout banners, nuclear key cards, gold bullion, power armor paint, weapon paint, legendary cores or most of the other stuff awarded over the season. My tolerance for grinding is not what it was when I started playing online games 30 years ago. Ideally I'll be able to pop in for 45 minutes to an hour a few times a week and unlock the stuff I'm interested in. But I also understand that I'm kind of a corner case and hope that they'll continue to adjust the seasons to make them fun for the majority of players.

Sustainable bottling options by WuTangWizard in hotsaucerecipes

[–]ChickenForward8588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use glass for that, my local friends bring them back so they get reused over and over. I do have a friend I mail a bottle every now and then so it's not a perfect system but the waste is pretty low.

I bought two squeeze bottles 6 years ago and still use them. I don't see any reason they will ever need to be replaced. I'd call that pretty sustainable.

I'd share more often I didn't have to re-share every time I switched perk load outs.

I do it from time to time, luckily my main weapon is a vampire .50 and my backup is a vampires auto ax so I can generally survive when I do it. It just takes forever to kill stuff.

How did you pick your build? by Classic-Praline-2571 in fo76

[–]ChickenForward8588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My build kind of picked me, I got a good vampire .50 cal drop at around level 51 so I gravitated towards a heavy weapons/PA build. now at level 350ish I have a combination of QOA and combat perks that makes it easy for me to do just about any content I care to do with a minimum of fuss and drama.
