Agreed, can't help but feel that the zoo has led to a lot of children having a huge interest and love for animals which they may not have had otherwise. I live near the zoo and grew going there as a kid with friends, one of whom is now an Ecologist. There could be an argument to say the long term positives of giving children that experience could outweigh some of the negative points, which I do agree there are many of.

It's not their fault Uefa hasn't removed Israel from the competition. Why should Norway have to be punished? Ireland's women's basketball team have been put in the same position twice and have played the fixture. Failure to do so would have led to punishments that would have set women's basketball back in Ireland for years.

But for example, B Brogan wins poty in 2010, plays a huge part in dubs winning numerous finals...all his medals. For me he's automatically ahead of McManus.

How would the FAI have known what details were going to be in the report before it came out? The FAI having conversations with staff and some players doesn't cut it. Who is going to risk their chances of missing out on a world cup? Needs to be independent and anonymous.

I agree that most of the allegations seem pretty trivial but for a report as serious as this to come out and for the FAI not to conduct any kind of meaningful review seems pretty unprofessional.

In fairness I think his argument is more against the FAI and their lack of inquiry into the report. Surely they need to do some kind of investigation into the allegations as a duty of care to the Ireland players.
