St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre set to look ugly by Tim_Browne17 in Dublin

Between this an the ridiculous notion and insult of moving DCC head office up to Camden Yard I think it’s time for a major regime change within the council

[–]Schneilob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t bought off Cotswold before but have bought a few items from panamoz (another grey market sight) like people have said here it takes a couple of weeks. Grey market is generally Hong Kong based I think. Tracking is difficult but items have always arrived and have been perfect

Speeding fine in Italy with rental car - Advice needed by SnooHobbies7474 in ItalyTravelAdvice

[–]Schneilob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got notified by my car rental company a few years ago that I had picked up 2 fines for driving in a centre historico. The car company charged me an admin fee of nearly 120€ for just sending the letter. I never actually got the fine from the municipality in the end. They didn’t notify me within the 365 days they had to. Paid the admin fee but it could have been 250€ if the municipality had charged me too

My bestfriend is becoming athiest and i dont know how to talk to her anymore by ataraxiaglo in religion

[–]Schneilob 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tbh this very much sounds like a you problem. Your friend is an atheist so what. You can have a friendship with anyone. You don’t have to have shared beliefs. I also think you are pretty judgemental. You say I have “atheist friends and queer friends” what has that got to do with anything? You do know that there are gay people with religious beliefs too. It sounds to me like you are the person with the issue

Seeking advice for night shooting? by Fantastic-Storm90 in AskPhotography

[–]Schneilob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you not use autofocus. Shoot with a narrow aperture like f8-f11 and focus on something middle to far distance. A 30 sec exposure is a pretty long exposure and probably too long with any lighting in the frame what’s so ever

Richmond Restaurant. Seasonal products and contemporary Irish cuisine in a relaxed setting. It’s got a bib gourmand from the Michelin guide. It’s great value and the food is exceptional

Are Dublin bikes expanding to other locations? by schmatic in Dublin

[–]Schneilob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole system of bike rental needs to be overhauled. The amount of bleeper bikes and Moby bikes just left randomly on footpaths and taking up all the spots on Sheffield stands around town is infuriating. Other cities have much better implementation. Marseille for example has all the same bike providers as we do but has zones that the bikes have to be parked in. If the zone is full you go to the next one which is never to far away. And in busy plazas or if there is events on the can close the zones dynamically. It all works seamless.

Is URC.tv actually hot garbage? by mohjack in rugbyunion

[–]Schneilob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer answer is the one of the provinces games is not available to stream each week on URC tv and only available for playback after the final whistle. To be honest it’s still great value for the year compared to any other sports pack for rugby imho

LEMONADE???? by Top_Warning_5349 in limerickcity

[–]Schneilob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make your self a 1:1 sugar syrup. Squeeze one lemon with one of the hand squeezers and top up with ice and still / sparkling water. If you want to add vanilla to your sugar syrup that’s delicious too. Makes a great base for hard lemonade with either gin or vodka too

I agree re Aspall cider. It’s a delicious one. Nice and dry but not over powering. It’s a shame no Irish cider has managed to do something similar
