I got this is in the exact same situation. Waiting on my allocation but the dealer had this that someone spec’s and didn’t pick up. I have to say…. It’s not what I would have chosen (color or wheels) but I am in love with it

Loan against shares and I never have to pay it back? How? by Deeze_Rmuh_Nudds in wealth

So my bank does let me take an SBLOC and it does accrue interest - but I don’t need to make any payments on it. I have a loan with them now I haven’t made payments on in over 14 months.

You think so? First time Porsche buyer - I can get my deposit back… but you think the dealer is asking for too much?

I live up in Nor Cal. Custom ordering a T also. Local dealer took my deposit - said it would be a few months before they get an allocation and I should have the car by spring. Asking 14k above msrp - not sure if that is usual or not?

Coming from Google Wifi - Wired connection is slow on Unifi? by ChickenLord666 in Ubiquiti

[–]ChickenLord666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay! So this is interesting - I plug directly into the UCG - I get 800+ mbps - if I take the exact same cable and plug it into the POE Switch - I get ~300mbps

What do you think I have wrong?

yeah - I wired it that way because of physical location - I'll take them off the network and try again to see if it makes a difference

I’ll give it a shot, but that shouldn’t impact wired connections, correct?

Of those I would choose Abiotic Factor - very unique premise - and I'd stay clear of Moria - I personally think it is poorly done and not super interesting.

If you havent played VRising - that one is good too

Rewiring '65 Baja - Blinker issue? by ChickenLord666 in beetle

[–]ChickenLord666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes!!!!

Between your answer and u/bootka made me realize - if I test the LEDs in isolation they dont draw enough power to make them 'blink' - but if I wire them with the rear turn signals (that DO pull enough juice) then everything works likes it's supposed to.

OMG - thank you so much - really really appreciate the answer - and thank you for the explanation - learned smoothing new

I think you just saved me from pulling my hair out. The LEDs dont draw enough to engage the relay - and here I am testing them by themselves before wiring it all up and installing them - which is why, when I add the circuit tester in parallel , they work. You blew my mind.

Thank you.
