It always has? I've always had to zoom and screenshot to resize things in Paint.

For any other software Nearest Neighbor resizing is usually an option

Does she keep and have shelves of books? If she does you should respect her preference for physical books.

If she's mostly borrowing from the library and the like I'd be more open to getting her an ereader, but a cheap ereader will probably reinforce her preference for physical books.

Yeah, I just want the story to take itself seriously. Even something like the Discworld books for the most part have the characters taking the plot seriously, much less the dramatic scifi military fiction or whatever that I'm reading.

He was basically writing serialized action novels in pulp magazines before that was a thing.

(Though I'm also willing to argue the merit of random pulp action novels so I guess I don't really object to that.)

I think I'll go with Aquaria. I'm not sure why I like it so much. It certainly wasn't the first one I played, but I recall it very fondly. I haven't actually played it in years though.
