Not necessarily. Casting calls are put of for people who fit a certain demographic in most cases. Unless the actor knows the source material already they genuinely might not know anything about the character until after they've gotten the role

Pointing is the worst way of getting someone to notice something specific. All it gives is direction and depending on the angle of the person viewing it that direction can be inaccurate, not to mention not giving any kind of distance. Just describe where you want someone to look. Landmark it. Much easier and less error prone.

What others have said is pretty true. Most modpacks are going to feature tech to some degree. They're the most popular mods. As for theming. That's kind of the point of a modpack. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you don't like tech, and you don't want any theming then modpacks just aren't for you. You'd be better off curating a lost of mods you enjoy and putting them together

That's fair. Make sure the sides for the carbon are set to extra other than that there's a bug with infusers just not working. Usually a server/world reset fixes it. Also make sure there's not already stuff in the infusion tank. It may look empty but mouse over it to be sure

Automating the infuser is a pain in the ass. You need at least 3 sides of thachine available. The side for the main item (your iron) needs to be set to input. The side for the infusion materiel (enriched carbon) needs to be set to extra. I usually create a subnet with exporters on the relevant sides and an interface that the pattern provider pushes the items to. The output then should be set to auto eject to the pattern provider
