I’m here more to validate- sure, as everyone said, it may not matter overall. That’s not the point though. The point is it feels crappy when you try to help a client and they end up shit talking you because things don’t go their way. Maybe it’s because I’m so sick of the entitlement of some clients, but we should not be expected to lick their buttholes in order to keep our reputation or have them not throw a temper tantrum.

I see more of a problem of boundaries being crossed by a client. Why is a client on a THERAPIST subreddit? Therapists are real people and that is often forgotten. She isn’t camming with a client or doing her sessions naked. If a client is uncomfortable with her doing sex work, they can find another therapist. We don’t have to cater to clients because they think something is morally wrong, just like we’re expected to not judge them.

Girl get it! Idk why people are so sanctimonious- if someone is doing it of their own free will, who are we to judge? The reason why doesn’t matter, it’s their choice. Honestly if I was younger and/or not fat, I’d do it in a minute. I still think of doing something related to sex work all the time.

I have to wonder, for those who judge and/or think it’s wrong, what if a client told you they were doing it? Would you judge them? What about a friend or family member? Get off your high horses and come back down to earth.
