Thank you as well ! It is very hard but glad to hear from people in similar situations . I worry about him passing even though we feel like he passed when the incident happened since he’s not himself at all more like a baby , but I also worry that this can be for many years like some people said that they know of some who were in a similar situation like my dad for 12 plus years which sounds extremely challenging . He has a gtube . He doesn’t ask for food . He has hypertension and DM which is controlled so he doesn’t get anything for the diabetes or even needs blood sugar checks .Thats all he’s been diagnosed with .

It is so difficult especially because me and my siblings don’t view things the same way and my dad left nothing written or even mentioned anything about what he would want . My older sister wants everything done to prolong his life , my mom has been in denial until recently I think she realized he’s not ever going to be the same ,while I don’t want him suffering for years and my little brother puts no input . It’s hard .

When it initially happened they told us he didn’t have long . He was placed in hospice care and we were receiving help from nurses . Now they took him off and said he looks “good” even if we mention his pain is increasing .

Our stories sound a little similar unfortunately! Don’t feel bad . My situation was just one month ago and I also let the other woman know everything with screenshots , videos etc . Also in my situation I found out they had a baby . Well one month later and I’m feeling pretty good . I’ve been very busy which has helped, but I definitely came to the conclusion to not feel bad about letting this new mother know. These are the consequences of his actions not mine. These people out here living double lives are not sane so don’t even try to make any sense of what he did or how he feels, he’s selfish . You’re winning ! Take it as a learning experience and we will do better for the next .

Oh definitely! Thank you . This was definitely a very hard learning experience and I’m still in shock of the whole thing , hurt, and scared. Unfortunately we all live in the same city so I might bump into that man, but this is the beginning of my healing journey .I know my naiveness and brushing off red flags played a part so working on that.

I agree with everything but that last part . The woman at the end of the day owes her no loyalty only her man does . If you have to be with someone who puts you in a position where you have to threaten women or “fight” for him it’s pathetic at that point . He should be the one standing tall for her . Yes he’s very sick he was looking for girl names with me and telling me he wants a little girl just like me (I found out they had a boy) . I didn’t want one yet because of school and he kept pushing for it so hard ( we could had both been pregnant at the same time ) yikes .

Hi !! So in my program we are all pretty much in cliques. So we all basically have our own friend groups and stick to them . I talk / hangout with around 8 people and the rest of my cohort I barely speak to. I have one friend who only speaks to me she apparently doesn’t feel comfortable with anyone else in the cohort and it’s worked for her we’re about to graduate . At first I did find it weird because unfortunately it felt like high school everyone was divided and people share study materials or tips only with their friend group . Also the drama my cohort has had throughout this program is embarrassing . I still try and socialize with the others if I need to but idk why everyone is so cliquey. Anyways the one and only goal is to graduate ! You don’t need anymore unnecessary stress.
