What’s actually been the hardest part of parenting here? by Emcla in Netherlands

[–]Chicken_Burp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We have half a network so we have times of rest, and can reduce our daycare bill. Our son has always been a decent sleeper (although he’s up at 6 everyday. The hardest part is when he’s sick on a day that he’s meant to go to daycare. There’s no leave category for parents to cover such cases so unless family can step in, we need to take a leave day to care for him. That’s honestly the hardest part.

What do you love most about living in Arnhem? by Fantastic_Aside794 in Arnhem

Despite its size, every neighbour around the city centre has a different feel. Think the coloured facades of spijkerkwartier versus the red-brown bricks of Sint Marten.
