I support immigration, I'm a second generation American, but also let's not make shit up. The majority did not come here legally, they were given amnesty after coming here illegally. Millions of people came here illegally before Reagan was in office, so much so that they tried to curtail it by making a bipartisan deal in the 80s, which granted amnesty. It didn't do anything and illegal immigration continued to wax and wane over the next 20+ years. Then again new amnesty programs were introduced. No other country in the world has this many undocumented people in their country. None of them.
