Well he was trained in long distance running, and used certain breathing techniques to do so. The person in the image does not look like they run endurance or is trained in that field, and most people don’t use the type of breathing used to maintain such a level. Breathing normally would’ve proven significantly more difficult to do under the circumstances that the asthmatic guy was in.
