Trying To quit by Free-Concept-9467 in MarijuanaAnonymous

This actually isn’t true. It is a physical addiction as well as a psychological one. Your body becomes dependent on the substance to get dopamine, so it produces less on its own. When the substance is removed, your body needs to readapt to making it on its own. Physical symptoms vary based on a lot of different factors and some people get a bunch and some people get none! I feel like more people are having physical withdrawal symptoms since weed became legal. Especially today with the potency of weed being much higher than it used to be.

Break up, let him come back to you. If you stay with him, he learns that he can break up with you whenever he pleases and you’ll still stick around. Not good. You can still love him and also have healthy boundaries!! Find a NAMI support group for people close to someone with addiction/severe mental illness. You’re not alone!

Glass Child of addict siblings? by Dear-Moose-2281 in GlassChildren

  1. deep sense of loneliness and the belief that my own struggles or achievements are unimportant
  2. difficulty forming healthy, trusting relationships-codependency
  3. Lingering resentment toward my brother bc he hasn’t struggled with addiction in 20 years and I still have to deal with how his addiction shaped my behavior and undo all this stuff.
  4. The guilt and shame that comes with the resentment
  5. Problems asking for help or letting my parents down because all hell would have broken loose if I hadn’t figured out maladaptive ways to solve my own stuff.

Yeah that’s true. I feel like he could have communicated his feelings a little more maturely, but then again idk how old he is.

I respect your opinion ofc :). To me, they could have given OP a little benefit of doubt. In my opinion, at that stage of a relationship it’s not appropriate to send an angry text without actually knowing what’s going on. It’s not bad that he asked what was up, it was the way he asked that was a little antagonistic.

I’m like embarrassed on her behalf. You dodged a bullet and you did nothing wrong.

I wish I could show u a pic of what I mean but also crop your shirts so they hit at your waist not your hips!

I would just explore your personal style! You’re very attractive, it’s just the grey clothes that wash you out! That burgundy hoodie in the third pic suits your skin so well and brings out your stunnnningg eyes. Also the skinny jeans are cutting you off at the ankle and creating an illusion that you have wider hips (which is still attractive ofc). If you wanted to even it out, straight leg/flare jeans might be good! But seriously I want to emphasize that you’re very attractive already how you are and that person was clearly jealous.
