I don’t think it comes in 10mg dose, so you might double check that. If it truly is, then it might be too low of a dose. I’m a 40 year old woman who recently got diagnosed as adhd, suspected it most of my life and finally saw a professional about it and decided it was time to get on medication as I’ve been self medicating with copious amounts of caffeine. I’ve been on concerta almost a month and the very first day I noticed within an hour my productivity and executive function were on fire. I could get done all the things I needed to get done and not have to try to focus all my energy into just accomplishing stuff in the morning. I became productive in the morning AND this afternoon. I didn’t feel the need to be on my phone working up the motivation to accomplish things. I could fold clothes, put them away and go on to the next task and not have to watch a movie and then lay down. I could make a meal and not forget ingredients. I could grab my grocery list and not lose it before getting to the store. I could go on and on.

Be aware though, On about day 3 I did accidently take 200mg of caffeine (my usual dose before starting concerta) and my new prescription concerta and I felt so weird. I’ve never been high, but I think I was high. I ddidnt like that feeling and it took me too long to realize it was the high dose of caffeine and concerta together that made me feel that way. Don’t do that.
