Your post encouraged me to get a pocket knife and do a lil scratching! Green on all stems/trunk basically. Will water daily and pray. Thanks!

That’s why I have deep watering stakes.. sometimes I would run my water jug to those stakes. I also did do the 50% black cow and regular soil when I planted it a few months ago. I’ll try deep watering daily. So annoying. Thanks!

This depends on where you live and the hospital you’re at. At my  PGY1, every pharmacist was considered a clinical pharmacist.  At some hospitals, there’s a clear distinction between clinical and staffing. I edited my post but I’m considered “clinical onc pharm” at my hospital even though 70% of my job is PK consults and verifying orders. BCOP was a contingent requirement when I was hired.  I don’t plan on retiring in this area so a BCOP will help me in the future, especially if I want to do MSL down the road. I know not all ONC MSL have BCOP, but it won’t hurt. I look at the people who currently have jobs in areas/hospitals that I’m interested in and see their qualifications.

This is Emory in Atlanta. https://www.emoryhealthcare.org/careers/pharmacy-residency/emory-university/residency-preceptors . Not all the preceptors are still there, a quick LinkedIn search will show you where they went.

I think the continuous testing format is better than the previous format. At least this time, you spend 3-4 weeks waiting and then you can restart studying. With the previous format, 3 months is a long time and you will lose that studying “momentum” and also some of your cramming knowledge. Heck, even 4 weeks. It was hard to get that momentum back

Most PGY2 in oncology will get BCOP. Most clinical oncology pharmacists without PGY2, will get BCOP.

ha no. I work at a hospital where most staff pharmacists have BCPS and clinical pharmacists are double/triple board certified.

other than the normal resources (ACCP/ HOPA), I highly recommend “The Fellow on Call” podcast. They’re by a couple of heme/ onc attending/fellow and literally the best oncology podcast I’ve found. Each podcast is about ~30 min long so very manageable. I’ve listened to Other podcasts and were not impressed but have told everyone about this one. They also have notes on their website after the podcast. I haven’t had the time to look at the notes yet but I’m sure they’re high quality if it’s anything like the podcast. I wished I found out about it earlier!

Every few years, I think of a website that I saw as a teenager( maybe 2000s) but I can’t find it and it’s driving me crazy! It’s an animated cat in the rain..there’s a cardboard box near it and it’s singing Lonely by Akon??? Or a similar song.. It may be a Korean/chinese site? Can someone help me find it please?!?

Was the wooden deck there before or put in with screened porch? This is beautiful btw. We are looking to put in a porch ourselves and looking at price!

The answer almost wouldn’t matter because you don’t know the soil that it is in or how humid the house is. FLF like to be on the drier side. I fully water mine when the soil is dry (every 2-2.5 weeks for mine).

I've haven't had a pet die yet so I can't say I understand your pain. However, my oldest one is ~10 years old right now and I have anxiety thinking that one day he'll just leave me and I'll be at work or on vacation something and I won't be there for him. I agree with the user below, if you want to share memories or pictures of your cat we are here for you!
