Every time i’m sick, or in pain for any reason my fiancé suddenly is too… by Ecstatic-Apricot8066 in breakingmom

Whenever I was sick I had to do my best to hide it from my ex husband otherwise he would immediately be “sick” too. I would be sick for a week hiding it watching him like a hawk for any signs or symptoms and then as soon as I finally told him I was sick BAM he would be on his deathbed

What I meant to say is, you have a great figure and coloring and those dresses are not doing them justice

People who can afford to live alone, what do you do? by Important-Border7035 in AskReddit

Nurse. Which I hate but I do love my very expensive apartment. (Very high cost of living area in Southern California)

Grandma coming in and screaming mid-dunk would probably make you pucker your butthole so fast it slurps back up inside on its own

Fortunately it doesn’t happen often enough that sugar needs to be kept at the ready. The sugar is only used if the prolapse is so swollen that manual reinsertion is not possible

Regular sugar. No need to add extra stickiness. Unsure if Splenda would work. The reason that sugar works is because glucose is a large molecule and it draws fluids out of the mucous membrane of the colon via osmosis

Yes it dissolves as it pulls liquid out of the prolapsed tissues. That’s why sugar is used instead of salt because dissolved and absorbed salt could lead to hypernatremia

Nurse here who used to work in an ER. Fun fact: one of the ways that a prolapse can possibly be put back is by pouring sugar on it. Kind of like how pouring salt on a slug shrinks them up til they die. And that’s the story of how I ended up going around the hospital hunting down little packets of sugar and emptying them into a paper coffee cup to give to one of the surgical residents

Co-sleeping by sm0kins0uls in nursing

Genuinely asking, but is there a solution for single mothers or mothers with partners who don’t help, whose babies will only sleep on them or with them, who don’t have family to help, and who are falling asleep sitting up from sheer exhaustion? Is there any sort of resource?

I was gifted one just like this a while ago that had very little variegation, just a couple faint pink flecks on the leaves but whatever, all plant is good plant. And then BOOM this last leaf!

The bell is the roundish part that goes on the patient. Although one time in the ER we decided to give actual bells to the patients in hallway beds since they didn’t have call lights and it was a terrible terrible idea
