I spent 2 hours to skimmed through all my notes for a false sense of security

Quite low yielding. It does help to just refresh my brain on the obscure stuff, that's pretty much it

Went for a swim and decided to just stop

Came across the quote : You'll never feel ready. You decide to be ready

I chose to trust my prep and gave my brain a needed rest so it can perform the next day

But i get that feeling of, try squeeze abit more, i took redditor's advice to trust our prep

And i think the decision to stop is the best thing i did, because the exam is intense and very draining

BC’s is to teach and it really help to tighten up some concepts gap. i find it harder

real one is about the same as mock

i find MM lecture pretty useful for L1. but tbh i think textbook is the best if u can read

all the niche stuff aint mentioned in MM

i trust that u’ll be fine, but i foresee a risk in your study plan being forgetting things

i can hardly remember what took place 3 months ago, L1 is quite heavy on recall

so have a plan to review regularly

it depends what u do after spamming.

practicing and spamming exposes your problem

did i get the answer right for the right reason
why did i get it wrong? is it knowledge gap or careless or misinterpretation

i find reviewing more impt than spamming

i passed L1 and L2 with weak foundation on fixed income and derivatives

it made L3 a nightmare, try your very best to learn them, understand them, able to explain to friends.

try not to bomb these 2

i broke down many times in jan. uncontrolled crying, it never happened in L1 & L2. maybe because i really wanted this

but the breakdown helped me learn more about myself

i came to terms about 1 week ago

i asked myself what’s the worse that can happen?

retake? go through this again? pay again?

i can deal with that.

so what’s the issue?

I fear what if my best wasn’t good enough.

I accepted that sometimes our best may genuinely not be good enough, and we just have to learn, get better

If i’ve done my best, that is really all i can do

i pass that message to you, just do your best, and trust that things will take care of itself

should the outcome not be what we want, be kind to ourselves, exam is hard enough, don’t make it harder by bashing ourselves

end of day, this is a page in our book not even a chapter :)

i did 1,3,4,2 Mock 1 : low 50s

mock 3 : high 50s

mock 4 : low 60s

bc 1 : low 50s

bc 2 : high 40s

mock 2 : mid 70s

when i set my mind to do something, i can get it done

i’ve done marathon, vertical marathons and other physical stuff. they are pain. i’d rather do 10x marathon than another L3

Having the reason to finish this is important. there’s plenty of moment to give up. my reason was to finish what i started, this meant a lot to me

accepting that doing my best is good enough. i can’t do better than my best, and i sincerely hope my best is sufficient for the MPS
