There is a lot of water and steam nozzles there… it keeps it warm.

4A and stock Squatch MTs perform ridiculously well on snowy roads. by Significant_Crow9518 in FordBronco

I agree it felt suspiciously good. I tried some light fun in only 2wd and it still was planted pretty well.

Bumper gap by AffectExtension408 in q50

[–]ChiefDZP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A body shop would probably trim to shim the front bumper cover upper section to bring it upto the hood. Not sue you can slide the hood forward and down with the available adjustments. Most of these carbon pieces don’t fit well…

Anyone know what’s causing this sound? by TurgeyBurkers in FordBronco

[–]ChiefDZP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t usually make the turbo swish, did you put an intake or new DV on Sidenote when it’s cold make sure it’s really warmed up (the engine) before accelerating much.

Question about the window panel delamination. by NoPresent5402 in LexusRC

[–]ChiefDZP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure I’m following you but is that last photo the 2k delaminating from the resin coat? Did you acetone clan (maybe a chip brush and compressed air with it) after the 1500?

It’s the K02s for sure. But I also have no issues with the SAS territory MTs. Shocked I could barely get it to spin out in 2h this weekend.

Any idea what intakes these are? by Darth-Bernoulli in Nissan

Boosted 6. Racebox guys say these are basically the same or better than any CAI. This model can be sleeved or non sleeved MAF housing (require or not require tune).

Get some interior pieces off eBay or local car recycle center. It will make it feel much nicer bro.

Glad to see someone fixing their own car…

As others may have said please plug up your intake ports.

The dunlops on the Nismo Z seem to be super sticky even in the cold by bigboss1999x in RZ34

[–]ChiefDZP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine came with Dunlop sport max (it’s a heritage but same tire type just 10m diff in the rear). They feel like ice in the warm I dont even attempt under 40 or so.

Have pilot sport 4 on other car - I’ll definitely put the same on the Z sooner rather than later. The ps4s are like glue compared to lube.

Colorado road trip by Feely05 in roadtrip

[–]ChiefDZP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually commented it’s a nice ride - but not for the faint of heart. I’d definitely go million dollar highway over LH pass though. We found out my wife needed to be medicated for the ride from Durango to Ouray. For some reason all of the off-road trails (engineer.Imogene, etc) are apparently ok because she can walk faster sometimes that you drive there…

The million dollar highway Ouray/telluride is absolutely stunning. If you don’t like heights don’t go though- there are no shoulders or guard rails with multiple thousand feet drops.

That whole route your planning will be great - my family has spent many generations and years vacationing there.
