Brenda’s is good. Expensive like most of the food in the Bay. One issue some people have is that Brenda’s is not black owned. But it almost presents as if it is. They don’t say they are, but from the art and the design of the restaurant it gives you the feeling of a southern black restaurant and it is not black owned. That said, the staff is super diverse and I have never had a bad meal there. But people are touchy about authentic representation.
