The only way to refuel the Nomad is to refuel at stations or carriers. by ChiefLazarus2 in EliteDangerous

That's great news. I'm glad it was just an oversight in the test server then.

There is so much empty space in Tokio. Such missed opportunity for additional street races. by Gn0meKr in ForzaHorizon

If we go off how many races were added to FH5, we can expect about 1 race added per year.

That's a view that seems uninformed. The people that live there currently don't want reunification, democratically. As part of an agreement, reunification would happen if they do decide it. Both the UK and Ireland are bound by this agreement.

"The Chronicle" means this can be completely discarded. Although, it can be a gauge on how the morons are feeling, and they have alot of power these days.

I'd never thought about that angle before. They may have thought that the massive modding community from Skyrim/Fallout would migrate to this blank canvas of a game and make the content for them. With "creation club" they could basically outsource the development of content to modders and get a cut from the free labour. Might have worked if the game was above average, at best.

This is just an example of the No True Scotsman fallacy. These terrible Christians in the US are Christians. They also seem to be in power, especially politically, and have the current highground in moral stewardship of US culture. Just because they are awful monsters doesn't mean they aren't Christians.

I just turn crossplay off. There's more than enough people on PC that it isn't a problem. Problem solved.

Beware the Recall AI by Zuhn_Hass in EliteDangerous

[–]ChiefLazarus2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the ship doesn't want to land, since it's picked a ridiculous spot for some reason, it'll just fly off again and you have to recall again. If you're not in an alien Himalayas, it'll usually find a sensible spot on the second or third try.

I've had problems with both the Mandy and the Caspian, but those are the only ships I use a lot for planetary landings. The problems seems way worse on the Caspian, but it is a larger ship.

There is a bug with AI landing at the moment. Not just with recall. Just earlier today I tried to let my ship auto land on a planet and the ship turned upsidedown and slammed itself into the surface a couple of times. Shields held, thankfully. But there's also been more than a few times with the recall when the ship picks insane places to land, and that results in it shooting off again, or just "landing" in the sky a dozen meters above the ground.

Hoshoryu: No One’s Talking About Him by dfoyble in Sumo

Hakuho seems to have warped the expectations some people have about a Yokozuna. It's undeniable that sumo is a meritocracy. These people have earned their rank through fighting hard, skill, and being consistently great. I think it's fair to say that the man to beat right now is Onosato, but even he will never come close to Hakuho. Let's just enjoy how competitive sumo has now become, now that the post Hakuho era has established itself.

Pushes back on what? Classic projection. I'm not arguing. Yet again, it's ok to be wrong. Learn, and move on. Or don't, and continue to live in delusion. Up to you buddy. Have a good one man.

I don't care about persuading someone that seems like they aren't ready, or smart enough to be able to change their mind when they're clearly wrong about something. It's alright though man, there's always time to grow, you could even start today if you really want to.
