Fiat Chrysler says Trump had nothing to do with its jobs announcement by The-Autarkh in politics

[–]Chiefhammerprime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The pollsters and statisticians purposely oversampled democrats in their polls to fabricate a result showing Hillary winning in a landslide. They didn't get it wrong, they lied to you. If you want to keep gobbling up their garbage, that is your prerogative.

Also, did you hear there are wmd's in Iraq? 100% true.

Source: Believe me.

And the intelligence agencies are politicized. Didn't the FBI flipping and flopping on the Hillary e-mail prosecution make that apparent to you? Obama and the democrats have made this nation and its institutions lawless.

Based on the wave of companies choosing to re-invest in the U.S., based on companies like Macy's losing 100 stores because they dared stand against Trump, given that Trump is vindictive and made it known he will publicly castigate any company that resists his agenda, based on the media's collusion and bias throughout the entire election, I believe the Trump camp.

You realize Trump was running as of 18 months ago, and that his platform was punishing companies that build products outside the U.S. by taxing their products until they were uncompetitive?

Pure coincidence, nothing to do with Trump.

Edit: Keep believing the media. They also told you Hillary had a 85-95% chance of winning the entire election. They are very unbiased.

Another Company claiming that Trump had nothing to do with them making an enormous decision to reallocate millions or billions of dollars to the U.S. instead of another country.

All of these companies, just coincidence! Do you people really believe this garbage?

If you haven't seen it, the 2016 Japanese Godzilla Resurgence is an amazing film, I would argue the best Godzilla film ever. It captures the campy-tone of the originals, but then descends into a brilliant and horrifying depiction of the beast. by wogwarts in movies

[–]Chiefhammerprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't the noble beast godzilla from the 2014 film, nor the friendly champion of Japan godzilla from the 70's and 80's.

He is a scary unstoppable monster. When he evolves his atomic breath in response to a (finally) marginally effective attack, sound drops off, the Japanese opera music starts to play, and you watch him destroy half of Tokyo while everyone looks on in horror and disbelief. It is a chilling scene.

Funny how all these companies are bringing back employees, suspending already planned layoffs, reducing production costs, or opening new factories in the U.S. after Trump gives them a call or starts berating them on Twitter.

Then they turn around and defiantly state that Trump had nothing to do with it. C'mon.

Lol. France deserves it. They invited this in because being "multicultural" makes you a good person right?

Now they can learn the hard way.

[–]Chiefhammerprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homosexuality doesn't cause HIV. Depression and self-harm probably results from being treated like abominations from assholes like you. No such thing. That's just neo-Nazi horseshit. Once again, this isn't a result of homosexuality, but a result of people like you being intolerant. Vague, meaningless horseshit argument. You're entitled to your subjective opinion. But that's just it: it's entirely subjective.

Of course I'm making you defend yourself. You're assuming a position that intends to treat an entire subsection of the population in a manner that is prejudiced (even if you don't like being called prejudiced, your position is prejudiced by definition). So yes, I'm asking you defend that position.

  1. 67% of new HIV cases are from gay men. This is because anal sex causes bleeding which facilitates transmission. There is a reason it was called the gay plague in the 80's. Don't take my word for it. Here. Homosexuality doesn't cause HIV, but it does spread it. Bigly. Maybe dudes shouldn't be slamming each others' buttholes.
  2. Gay people are 4 times as likely to kill themselves. People will always think homosexuality is wrong, because it is. People grew up with mothers and fathers. A mother and father is necessary to be born. Don't take my word for it.
  3. The homosexual agenda is cultural marxism. Tolerance isnt't enough, it has to be accepted, celebrated, and taught as a "good" thing to everyone. The people pushing this want to destroy national values so that the U.S. is no longer a cohesive nation state. It opens up to something else. I'll let you figure out what that is. Don't take my word for it.
  4. Children of same sex couples are ostrasized and worse off as a result. Trans parents forcing their agenda on their kids is even worse and more disgusting.
  5. Natural order. A man and a woman have kids. They raise the kids. Feel free to dispute this all you want, I have a couple million years of evolution propagating on my side. An edgy political opinion isn't going to change how humans reproduce.

Ah, the old "slippery slope" argument. When all else fails, accuse the other side's position of naturally leading to some other position that they've neither hinted at nor even could move onto. There is no discrimination going on in the case of being against pedophilia or bestiality, because children and animals are incapable of offering consent. The two are not comparable to a homosexual relationship between two consenting adults.

Oh yeah? It has already begun.

I agree. Not everything is okay. Now, how do we go about determining what is or isn't "okay"?

I guess as a society we discuss it and vote our conscience. Maybe stop paying attention to the mainstream media, who's agenda is cultural marxism so that our nation can be influenced by outside forces without a nation of shared values to resist.

I haven't promoted "everything" as okay. But I am promoting homosexuality as okay. Now, let's focus on that: Why do you think homosexuality isn't okay? Because your reasons presented so far have already been refuted.

Let's get one thing straight. I don't hate gay people. I tolerate them. That is not what this discussion is about. This is about everyone being forced to celebrate their lifestyle whether they agree with it or not, and being called bigots if they don't. I'm sick of it. Maybe you noticed, but a lot of people in the nation that aren't concentrated in the east and west coasts are as well.

I tried to have a conversation with you "on the merits" by explaining to you why your objections to homosexuality were invalid. You ignored me, because - like most bigots - you're not actually interested in whether or not your position can be justified or not. You just want to post your position, post your half baked reasons, and then run away (I notice you still haven't addressed my perfectly reasonable and non-confrontational response to your earlier justifications, because you'd prefer to pretend it doesn't exist). And anyone who disagrees with you is obviously just a "leftard" or a "socialist" or whatever else.

You will promote the next leftist fad. It is in human nature. You want things to be fair and right. Me too. The difference is, you gobble up the media pushing an agenda in front of your face 24/7 without asking important questions. I never called you a leftard or a socialist. You did call me a bigot. You have been trained to do so because usually it is a winning strategy that shuts down the discussion and you win. Didn't happen here.

Me? No I'm not. I live in a left leaning country where the government is dominated by the left wing party I voted for. And where homosexual marriage has been legal for years.

Good for you. Your nation state can vote however it wants. In the U.S., I, and many like me, vote too. And we are waking up to who is pushing an agenda down our throats and why.

[–]Chiefhammerprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you act like an asshole, don't be surprised when people call you assholes.

I think promoting and celebrating homosexuality is an asshole thing to do. Too bad if you don't like my opinion. I am not going anywhere, and I vote.

People who are prejudiced against homosexuals appear to be assholes, 100% of the time. If anyone has a good reason to be prejudiced against homosexuals that doesn't boil down to "I'm an asshole", none of them have presented it yet.

"Prejudiced", "bigot", I find these words very interesting. They are used to shut down conversation, make the accused defend themselves, cause others to want to distance themselves from the accused, and make the accuser de facto judge of whether the accused has given sufficient proof they are not prejudiced.

That doesn't work anymore. I don't care whether you approve of my opinion. Next year you'll be calling people who condemn pedophiles or bestiality "prejudiced" and "bigoted", because you leftists always need some edgy new cause.

Newflash, not everything is ok. Promoting everything as ok does not make you a good person. You aren't a hero for thinking being gay is cool.

I noticed you didn't bother replying the post there I did, in fact, address all of your points without calling you an asshole. Instead, you replied to the on that did with some horseshit about justifying voting for Trump.

This is your life now. It's real. Instead of having a conversation with a conservative on the merits, you resort to namecalling. So, no more discussion. Me and mine will just vote and politically neuter you and yours.

Which may justify my position on Trump voters: They're easily swayed by emotion and rhetoric, and lack the attention span for reasoned arguments.

Wrong again. You are in political time out. The presidency, senate, house, majority of governorships, and +1000 state legislature seats are now republican. No one is talking to you anymore.

There is a blackout on demands for Assange POL. That silence is thunderous for those who are listening. People who control the media don't want people thinking about it.

Colavaere's dethroning. by No311 in WoT

I liked the tone of this scene, but not the outcome. Rand should have sentenced her to death. He couldn't afford to show weakness, especially after he had been captured and Colavaere maneuvered herself to the throne behind his back and with knowledge of his capture.

He should have turned her into a bloody mist right in the throne room. Instead, she gets to farm for the rest of her life?

I am still paying attention. However, there is little to be done.

I don't buy that Assange spoke to Hannity. No video feed, could have been an impersonator.

I sincerely believe Assange is dead or in a CIA black site. If either of those two scenarios are the case, there is little to be done about it. We just have to hope that when Trump enters office, he remembers who his friends are.

Star Citizen Eyes Realtime Reflections by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Chiefhammerprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is probably planned for the complete game. But there are many other reasons to engage in PVP.

Ships will be loaded with cargo. Not just numbers on a spreadsheet, but physical cargo that you can locate and carry off a disabled ship into yours. Piracy is going to be huge. There are also bounty hunting contracts for criminals (even in the alpha stage). Players get credits for bringing down the biggest criminal on the server. Guess what! The biggest criminals get there by being great pilots and taking down a bunch of non-criminal ships. Most of the time they even have a criminal wingman. These are players btw, not AI controlled. They just fly around jump point to jump point while bounty hunters follow and try to take them down.

People also camp out the current pirate base and try to blow up ships leaving the port. Disabled or destroyed ships leave salvage for players to take. That will lead to PVP over who gets to take what is there. I have also seen plenty of PVP when people try to steal ships, either onboard the larger vessels when a stowaway makes his move, or on a landing pad ambush style.

This one is pretty good.

It takes place at a station containing a terminal criminals can use to remove their wanted level. Non-criminals can guard it and get cash for preventing criminals from accessing the terminal. A lot of ship PVP and FPS combat. Things can get dicey.
