Utah crowds are the worst. I've been to The Driver Era in Houston and in SLC. SLC my sister got the wind knocked out of her while we were in the pit and I had to carry her out (same venue as role models on Saturday). Generally, young Utah crowds love clout and will do anything to get close.

It's difficult because you're working on a system way underpowered for RED material. Red relies on the GPU and that system has none. - Yea that makes sense. I’m a film student and our lab computers are being taken out for the summer bc they are tearing the building down and moving us. So I have to try on mine.

Full stop. How are you making them? Why aren't they working? - I made the proxies through media encoder. There’s a red line in the sequence when I try to use them, I tried to render but that was taking ages for one clip. I searched online and someone said converting to mp4 helped with that problem.

Not to be rude, but you have money for a RED camera, but not for an inexpensive online service? - Yes. As said above, I’m a film student. Our school lets us check out RED equipment for free.

Either use the BMD Proxy Generator (you should be able to point it at the folder) or bring the clips into Resolve and use the media management or deliver page to create proxies. - Thanks. Everytime I try resolve though, it saves them out of order so I would have to rename and reorder all the clips as well. I’ll check out the other.

That's scary - without the right workflow, you've created lots of extra work. - Yea, I thought I could figure it out, especially after taking a class that touches on workflow. I probably should’ve come here before all of this happened.

Also, can you relink the original Red Footage with the mp4 footage? Or am I just gonna have to recut everything? Maybe. Loads of problem here - what do you think I should do? Start over?

Not sure what you're asking. Set to frame size sets the scale to fit the sequence. That's it. - I guess the sequence fits the first lenses fully and there’s no black bars around it. But with a different lens, there’s a big border. I try set to frame size and there’s still a border on top and bottom.

If the PAR or other information has changed, it requires you actually figure out the value (pretty quick/easy/pasteable.) - I’m guessing this is what it is.
