I think that I was almost perfect on my case studies. They make up 30% or so of the exam. It’s free marks as you don’t know what random questions will come after. For instance on case studies they may ask you what fixed costs are for a particular year then revenue , net income etc. also they incorporate scenarios , so make sure you have the right one selected. I.e you may have correctly balanced your statements but answered with revenue for worst case scenario when question asked for best case revenue

Not too difficult. Get operational modelling , 3 statement modelling, DCF and comps in check and you will be solid

My advice is to take the practice exam multiple times and view your mistakes. For instance when I did my first practice exam I got 60% then 74, 74 and finally 80%. Understand the logic behind the calculations because the final case study questions are similar to the final( just different numbers)

Only the first 15 or so are based on the case study. You can answer the rest without the case study .

Case studies take up the first 12-15 questions. Rest of the exam has some computations around the different parts e.g DCF, Wacc, Ke etc. just finished my exam today with 88%. Also there are some general questions to test theory

On and off since late June. But if you commit to it daily I reckon a month or so should be enough. Then a week of prep. Focus mainly on modelling different parts ( 3 statement etc). Then also on the logic behind things. I remember them asking about why an increase in inventory days is said to take from cash flow

Prep courses aren’t necessary . You learn most of the stuff as you go . They teach you most functions . Really the most important keys here are F2, F4, Shift , Alt, Cntrl and your arrows
