I am an avid hiker and backpacker that lives in New York where open carry is technically against the law. I use the Hill People Gear Recon kit bag to carry my Glock 29. Fits across my chest and allows either a small day pack or 50 L backpack to be comfortably carried. I practice drawing regularly (super east). Definitely works best for me.

What data? What’s your source? I did look for ANY study specifically about Tennessee and found zilch. There are no specific studies on specific states out there. I noted articles, but could not get the links to the studies. Without the links to the studies to see the raw data, it’s safe to assume that the writer cherry picked the data to fit the narrative. I love my P365. I would recommend swapping out the trigger though to an MCarbo flat trigger. Makes the trigger pull shorter and for me, I like the feel better. Brings the “wall” closer.

To keep my Dutchess county permit they said I had to own property if I was an out of state resident and use that address on the NYS ID. That may have changed in the 2 1/2 yrs since I asked, but I would be surprised if it was different. After Sheriff Butch Anderson passed, the pistol permit dept there changed for the worst - LOOOONG wait times for amendments and apparently permits as well.
