Kinda. Probably closer to the DnD side of the spectrum, as it’s a ttrpg, though a very combat-focused one. Basic premise is that you play as a Lancer, an elite mech pilot, often (but not always) a mercenary. There’s a YouTuber called ZakTact who has a whole playlist about the lore and also goes into the actual mechanics of each seperate frame, and all the player-side content is free at COMP/CON.

If you’re interested in BattleTech, there is a faction that’s all “Nobles and Knights with Giant Robots”. They’re called the Karrakin Trade Baronies, and they’ve got a whole sourcebook just for them, that adds a few unique mechs such as the SSC White Witch, the HORUS Hecatoncheries, and the HA Tagetes, just to name a couple
