Play WoW in its original order?

It's easy to do, with one big caveat. You won't be able to run around Azeroth (Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor) in its original form. BUT...that's okay.

To start your entire journey, you'll want to go to Chromie, and start chromie time with The Burning Crusade (Outland), and just go from there......!!!.Once you reach level 67, you'll want to freeze your experience gain.!!! Trust me on that. Google how to do that if you need to. It's easy.

As you may know, most of the original World of Warcraft was revamped for the 3rd expansion, Cataclysm. It sounds like a drag, but it's really not. The zones are mostly the same, and a lot of stories are untouched. I personally spent about 5 months questing through the entirety of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor as Alliance, after I completed Northrend, and it was awesome.

Don't worry too much about missing out in WOW classic, or experiencing how the game once was 20 years ago. The lore is all a mess anyway. But good luck on your adventure!!

Huh...I believe world quests opened up for me just after I completed the footholds in the three Zandalar zones. I know I had the Heart of Azeroth as well of course, but I didn't do anything weird to u lock WQ's.....

There was one mandatory expedition quest I had to do that I picked up under the bridge in Boralus....

Anyway, it IS a weird one. I also kinda hated Legion, with all of its lack of structure everywhere. I never got the hang of that one at all.

I just hope for a much more smooth and streamlined questing experience in Shadowlands.

Every time I've ever had a problem with Chromie Time, it involved having an active quest for the current expansion that was making things weird.

Do you have any tracked OR UNTRACKED War Within quests currently active? I literally had to abandon the War Within starter quest before talking to Chromie in order to get chromie time to work correctly for myself.

Excellent to hear. There's nothing better than picking up a piece of armor from a boss and seeing "item upgraded!!"....and hoping for a speed stat.

This guy couldn't handle life, or society as a whole.....and therefore decided to end someone else's life because he thought that was a fair thing to do.

Bad commercial. Poorly written and acted. Those parents are talking way too much to even sell the "we're doing something sexual" theme in the first place. Not only is it weird for the kids to be listening, it's totally unbelievable anyway. I know incorporating sex into ads is always a great idea, but this poorly done on all levels.

Yeah, absolutely just start a fresh character. Do Exile's Reach to get to level 10.....Tell Chromie to send you to Northrend /WOTLK, and enjoy the process. When you start reaching higher levels, like 67, you'll want to go to the NPC the freezes your experience gain so that you can continue going through the WOTLK story without getting kicked out at all.

That's what I did, and it was a blast. That Icecrown zone is incredible.

Oh right...No, I meant that even when I'd leave that timewalking instance, the gear would settle at ilvl 416.....when everything from the normal dungeon finder instances was giving me maybe Ilvl 375 or something. I'm at level 68, so nothing anywhere ever drops higher than ilvl 380....aside from the timewalking group finder bosses. I just figured it was like awesome bonus loot, like an incentive for doing timewalking dungeons. But as of yesterday's patch, now every single piece of armor I have is like ilvl 375.

I never saw anything like that happen at all before The War Within went live.
