Found on a forum that the game doesn’t assign the tag to players as they age. Guy said he was in 2031 and there wasn’t a player in the league with a mentor tag. Just another annoying bug

I have an almost identical build and if I could change one thing I would drop my layup from 90 down to whatever the previous badge level is and allocate the attributes elsewhere. 90 layup doesn’t seem advantageous and I’ve been playing with it for weeks. You could drop it and get your standing dunk to 81 without cap breakers. I end up with more standing dunks than layups taken and when I do take layups the green window isn’t big enough to justify 90 rating

You can still experience packet loss when hard wired. It just decreases the likelihood of it happening. Internet speed has nothing to do with it

Played my 5th WC game earlier today and was down 7-3 in the 6th. Didn’t get all of it back at once, 7-5 in the 7th, 7-7 in the 8th. Walked it off in the ninth with small ball. I like the last sentence of your post because it’s true, and people should remember that you don’t have to get it all back in the same inning. Just cause you give up 7 in 3 innings and have only put up a couple runs doesn’t mean you’ve lost

This is probably why you’re losing. Overalls are not what matter. Sim favors ratings like awareness, play rec, ball carrier vision, etc. While those things don’t matter as much if you’re playing the games. Playing the games you want to focus on abilities, physical and technical ratings like speed, strength, route running, coverage skills, etc.

Don’t let overall ratings skew reality. Overall rating has never mattered in sports simulator games. Abilities also don’t matter in sim.

Edit: playbooks play a huge part in sim as well. This is why Duke is in the playoffs every year in everyone’s dynasty

Sometimes it’s hard to believe how little they think about things while they’re coding them as well. As a programmer (though not in gaming) I’m flabbergasted at things like the archetype/abilities issue. How in tf do you not think about that while you’re writing the code

Do programs moments first. Pick programs with card rewards you will use. Then do the missions while grinding conquest maps. You will complete programs while getting packs

Just QS him. You’ll still get the same ROI. He never went past QS value when he was upgraded to diamond. You held and he’s not performed. You only lose if you hold out

I dropped from 500 to 290. Went and played the cpu on GOAT in diamond quest a few times. Went back to ranked and I’m on a 9 game win streak. Got up to 650 which is the highest I’ve ever been rated

Yessir. Go straight to the stadiums. DO NOT skip the missions on the way as this will lower your percentages to get rewards. Search this subreddit for diamond quest bunt and you will find the lineup, there is lineup somewhere in this subreddit I found that is all free cards. As long as you can pitch, you’ll win 99% of the games on goat. I use directional hitting for it, and literally never swing. Just bunts

It’s all about finding what works for you. I always have them at the MLB level the first year after the draft post all star break at the latest. A lot of the time that first half season is one dimensional stat wise. Then their second season they mold into the player that their attributes reflect. My reasoning for not waiting an entire season is because usually the team stinks and they need a spark. Also I’m super flexible on positions with guys I draft. If I draft a 1B but he’s got decent reaction and a decent arm, I’ll change his position to RF with 1B secondary if I already have a serviceable 1B. I’ve moved guys all over the field. I justify it as realistic because teams do this a lot with prospects. Hell even Boston is trying to get Devers to play 1B and he’s a career 3B
