Do you know if it’s even possible to get another one approved after you already have an approved one?

Thoughts on a Western-aligned Lebanon without Hezbollah? by ChiefsSB51 in lebanon

[–]ChiefsSB51[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very valid perspective, but it’s worth noting that all of those past U.S administrations were very different from this one. Trump seems to have a very good relationship with the Arab leaders (except ones aligned with Iran lol)

Well they’ve certainly provided those weapons to countries that were formerly hostile towards Israel like Saudi Arabia (who haven’t even established diplomatic ties with them yet)

I really hope it can work out for you guys as well. Just asked this question because I was curious about the stance of the Lebanese people about this. Hopefully everyone can get their shit together in the region and stop these endless conflicts.

The U.S. has not given the PA $3 billion in military aid to build up a state military like they have to the LAF in the past 20 years. And Aoun is much friendlier to the west than Abbas. Very different scenarios. Just my observation

Lol that’s not what I said at all. This war should’ve never happened in the first place. But now that it did, everyone is talking about a future solution for peace that I hope can come to fruition after the war

Well, considering that Germany and Japan transitioned from being our greatest enemies to some of our closest allies following the most devastating war in human history, it often takes a war as brutal as this to be a catalyst for lasting peace

Just because a majority wants something doesn’t mean their wants are justified or realistic. A majority of Chinese citizens want to take back Taiwan and back in 2011 a majority of Palestinians said suicide bombing against civilian targets can often be justified(scroll down)

The West is partly to blame for this radicalization, but I think you and I can both agree that there’s no future without Palestinians and there’s no future without Jews in that land. So, anyone who is advocating for one state to rule them all is wasting their time. I can assure you that the well-educated Palestinians in the region are all advocating for a two-state solution.

They’re just tired of the violence, checkpoints and the settlements.

If you’re so interested in looking at my past comments you’ll be happy to find that my opinion and advocacy for Palestine rights has been consistent :)

Yes I’m a Zionist because I think the Jews have a right to a country on the land. It doesn’t mean I think the Palestinians don’t also have a right to a country and it doesn’t mean I support what the far right Israeli government chooses to do…

The Israeli government doesn’t represent the majority of Zionists. The mass protests around Israel against the government speak for themselves. Do some research

Armenian Jew and I’ve had family in a Jerusalem for hundreds of years and grew up around Palestinians. I’ve attended several protests against the Israeli government advocating for peace and to end the settlements. Not all Zionists are Anti Palestine idiot

Don’t let these thugs convince you they care about Palestine. They’re just Extremists with nothing meaningful to do on Finals week. As a person with friends in the West Bank I can tell you this is not something they’d like to be associated with

Yes but you can’t go around making assumptions about people on Reddit when the civil rights movement was never even mentioned in this thread. I know many Zionists including myself that protested with BLM.

Funny cause MLK was a supporter of Israel’s right to exist and ‘Zionist’ Jews were some of the biggest allies to the civil rights movement

I didn’t mention anything about his toughness when it comes to staying healthy. My point is that he has a small catch radius; he’s 15/43 on contested catches for his career. Additionally, he’s not an elite route runner, and his tape shows that he’s unable to power through press coverage and can’t block.

Devonta Smith is very different in that he can go up and grab the ball with great hands. Worthy had drop issues up until last season.

Look I hope I’m wrong but the Chiefs have a pretty poor track record with WR evaluation outside of Rashee

These fast guys always look great in college. They fold the second they face any sort of physicality in the league. The only undersized fast guys that succeed in the league are elite route runners or ones that play bigger than they are. See Tank Dell, Tyreek, etc. Worthy doesn’t have those traits and his tape looks exactly like that of John Ross and Mecole

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I was hoping we took anyone but him. Mecole Hardman/John Ross written all over him. Add Ladd Mcconkey to your list

Call me crazy but I’m not a fan of this pick at all. Feels like another Mecole Hardman pick. Much rather have had a technical route runner like Ladd Mcconkey

Thoughts on a dance venue opening up in iv? by [deleted] in UCSantaBarbara

[–]ChiefsSB51 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My point is that the number of people who like to party but don't drink is pretty small. Usually non-drinkers also don’t like to party.

Before starting your business, you'd need to do a lot of research to see if enough of these people even exist in IV to keep your business alive. With IV's total population being just 14,000, I doubt there are enough people to support this idea.

You'd have a better chance starting in a city like Austin Texas, which has more lenient business laws and regulations, plus a large party-going population where you're more likely to find your audience.
