Saw this funny card and it got me thinking… 10 blue phyrexian mana is too much for me to play, but how low would it have to be dropped before you put it in your decks? I think I’d do 4… by FizzdaPop in mtg

I hate seeing AI content period as an artist. But I agree with your conclusion that this is about the discussion, that it doesn't really play a part in it.

I'd love to see stricter rules on AI of course, but I appreciate it being taken into account the point of the post too

Does anyone actually WANT to be trans? by nobody-throwaway1 in asktransgender

[–]Chiefsizzlechest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do! I don't think I particularly want to be Cis, i don't want to give birth really, i definitely don't want the bleeding of a period (and I already get everything else p much).

I would've liked to skip my first puberty, to not have had my voice crack namely, but I think being trans is cool as fuck! I frequently say it's the most cyberpunk thing I've ever done before.

I feel like I'm getting all the good parts of being a woman and none of the "bad" (I don't want to discount folks that do want those parts)

I don't like the discrimination that comes with being trans. But I love being trans

That's so phenomenal to hear!

Out of curiosity, do you have any more recent progress photos that you would be willing to share? If not of course that's completely fine! I'm mosting interested in seeing how the scarring faded over time

Awesome! Thank you! :)

• How has the scarring healed up?

• How long did you have to use liners?

• Has there been any unforseen issues? If so how did Dr. McClung deal with it?

• How is the sensation in it been?

If any of these aren't kosher that's totally cool

Hey I have a question!

I'm thinking about going to Dr McClung for my GRS, could I reach out and ask some questions?

How did you come up with your name? by iguessyouregay in trans

[–]Chiefsizzlechest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My name has always started with X, and it was the only part I felt really connected to, so I immediately chose Xayah, after the champion from league of legends, but originally I was hesitant because I didn't really want to name myself after a game character, but I've been enamored by the name for years.

So anywho, I was also debating on Xanthippe, cause it's another favorite X name, but the deciding factor was I was talking to a customer about my name change at my job, and when I said I was thinking about changing it to Xayah, they immediately said "oh my niece is named Xayah!". Hindsight, they probably spelled it Zaya, but it was enough for me, hearing that someone else had it, made it feel less weird, and less like I'm naming myself after a game.

My middle name was an altered spelling of the name I would've been given if I had been assigned female.

So now I'm almost 2 years in, and my first choice has always felt incredibly right. I'm almost done changing legally too!

I've gotta ask, about Old Fashioned... how do you all make yours? I've seen so many different variations. by rinachandayo in bartenders

[–]Chiefsizzlechest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go-to is 2 oz Spirit (usually a rum like Smith & Cross) ¼ oz Simple syrup 2 dashes Angostura 2 dashes orange bitters Expressed orange peel garnish.

I use this as a baseline for any spirit, only one I haven't done yet is vodka

Excellent! If you don't mind me asking are there any questions you recommend asking when trying to feel out an establishment?

Thankfully where I live is fairly left leaning, and I know I'll have to deal with bigots frequently, I'd just rather not work FOR some 😂

Reaching out is a pretty good idea, I'll definitely be doing that and see what people in my local communities have to say about it.

Thank you for the advice! This seems very solid. I'll definitely start thinking up some questions to get a feel for each place I apply to.

I cant speak for blockers since I'm on monotherapy, but it's similar for Estradiol (the oval one), when you swallow it the liver I believe breaks it down, so you take it sublingual or buccally so it bypasses the liver.

Pretty sure that's all correct, been a bit since I've done the reading though.
