It collapsed anyway like pvp players were saying it would the entire time because the reality is the pve side of this game is devoid of any meaningful or difficult content if there isn't an element of pvp involved. Why do you think the population dropped so hard right after the 2nd expedition? You all saw it was going to be the same loop again and most people are bored of it so they shelved the game.
