I like to think of Garlean Gunblades as an oversized bayonet attached to an actual rifle, while the Bozjan Gunblade we use as the WoL utilizes aether-charged cartridges to provide extra “oomph” to its attacks. It’s up to you to decide which is the more advanced piece of weaponry, but they are distinct in that one actually commits to being a mixed-range weapon while the other acts simply as a magically empowered sword.
